In class last night we did an interesting exercise and I was curious to try this here. No cheating please or you'll mess it up!
Look at the painting below and describe the scene. Tell me what you think it's depicting. I'll post something tomorrow that tells you what it is but if you know this work and it's origin don't answer please!

Minus the sharted thing Punu and you're on to something. Redeemed's kind of gotten it right too. I'll post the poem that inspired this in just a second. It's actually quite different then what I expected to read based on my perception of this photo but art and literature are both all about perspective.
