So far, this year's coaching vacancies have been filled with newbies rather they recycling the same ol' coaches who've lost their jobs elsewhere. (KC was different. Edwards' transfer was 'arranged.')
Rod Marinelli is being introduced today in Detroit (we should have a contest on the date HE takes the next bullet for Millen), Scott Linehan is reportedly St. Louis' choice and Gary Kubiak appears to be Houston's pick (they're just waiting for Denver's playoff run to end).
That leaves Buffalo and Oakland. Haslett played in Buffalo so he might be the lone re-cycle.
But that leaves Martz, Tice, Sherman and Capers without jobs.
I think it's refreshing that this many coaches are getting their first shot at the top job.

tice and capers i can understand being left behind. but sherman is a darn good coach, and martz is not too bad at figuring out the offense. i'd be surprised if one of these guys isn't picked up.
then again, since they were fired, if they don't land a gig, they get to sit at home and collect a salary. poor guys....

Tice and Sherman deserve head coaching jobs again IMO...
Martz should be an offensive coordinator I think.
