I'd almost be willing to bet, that the Skins are looking into TO. They might not sign him for some reason or another but they are considering it, I am almost certain. Him and Moss would make Cambell look pretty good his 1st year at the helm. :D Cambell at QB, Portis in the backfield and Moss and TO as the wideouts, beef up the offensive line, sounds pretty dam sweet to me.

That guy is all about money so get it on his contract that if he says anyting vaguely controversial he'll get cut without pay. Also, get on his contract that he can't remove his mouthpiece from 3 hours before to 3 hours after gamedays. Even if he accepts this conditions, I don't want him here.

According to Drew Rosenhaus

Post by Brandon777 »

At another board today, they are saying Drew Rosenhaus is talking about T.O. wanting to be a Redskin. Drew supposedly is saying Washington is at the top of T.O.'s wish list and that he(Drew)and Snyder have a great working relationship. He is saying T.O. would be a perfect addition to the Redskins. Drew also said T.O. respects Joe Gibbs and would love to play for the hall of fame coach.
Let us all gather around and drink the Cooley-Aid of the Redskins.

...And in other news, Hell has frozen over, pigs have taken flight, and Drew Rosenhaus has been cannonized as "St. Drew The Honest" by the Catholic church! -drinking

I sure like the guy's talent, but he's nothing more than a spoiled mouthpiece that get's a podium for his thoughts more often than he should.
"The biggest misrepresentation there is that [it's because] Dan's got a lot of money. That's not it," Gibbs said. "We've got a rule. Believe me, if we had no rules, Dan would spend some money."

Maybe I am just too willing to give people second, third, and fourth chances.

I mean, everyone seems happy on this team, isn't it likely that T.O. is influenced by this?

He is probably the best wideout in the NFL and personality aside is perfect for what we need on offense.

Joe Gibbs gets paid the big bucks to control these personalities, that's what good coaches do...

I have faith that Gibbs would be up to the challenge.

His personality is unlike any other in the league. Not even the most selfish player is as "Me me me!" as Terrell is.

Owens said the same thing going to Philly (after he whined about not wanting to go to Baltimore). He was excited about going to Philly and winning the Super Bowl. And when they lost, he started to point fingers at everyone, especially McNabb.

No. It is more likely that he will screw it up. Jansen has already said there is no place for him on this team. You know there will be guys on the team that want him here. All it would do is divide the team. They already disagree about him.

If he was unhappy with McNabb throwing him the ball as a #1 WR in Andy Reid's pass happy offense, how on EARTH do you see him being happy in a balanced Joe Gibbs offense, with Mark Brunell throwing him the ball as the #2 wideout?

You really think TO will be happy with 50 catches?

Not now, not ever, not even if signing him came with an "engraved in stone" guarantee of a Super Bowl win. Joe Gibbs has worked too hard to mold the Redskins back into a team for one individual to come in and screw it up.

I say that in the best spirit of team parity, equity, and 2nd, 3rd and 4th chances, TO be sent back to play for Nolan and the San Francisco 49ers for the rest of eternity.

After all, people deserve a 2nd chance, Right?

One thing to remeber is that at this time last year the eagles were ready to play the NFC championship and might I mention while T.O. was injured. Fast forward to this year a once SuperBowl contender is now watching the Playoffs at home. Humm..only took one year for T.O. to bring down the house. Imagining that happening to the Skins. Ok I retract any thought of him coming to the Skins. I would only aquire the rights to T.O. just for a first round pick or something like that. :?
