Koren Robinson might be better staying in Minnesota. Can you imagine how much more temptation there is in Washington than in Minnesota? As far as Randle-El, how good is he when the #1 WR goes to another team (Burress to NYG), and then the next #1 holds out, and you still can't make enough of an impact to get the ball thrown your way? I'd pass on both and see who else might be available.

koren robinson would be a good pick-up..he's a great return man and had good speed. that would kill 2 birds w/ one stone

I am not sold on needing to pick up another threat at wideout to be successful. That being said Robinson was a stud for Minnesota in the second half. The speed and HEIGHT of Robinson is quite key. Also the price tag would probably be ok. If I made the decisions he would probably be the best selection for a wide receiver pick up for the reasons I mentioned earlier.

He is the type of WR we need you guys need to forget off the feild stuff hes extreanly quick and tall but does have average at best hands i wouldnt mind the signing wouldnt jump for joy either. Randel el wont leave the stealers and if he does its gonna be to a different team

we all know robinson was an alcoholic, but the last few reports i've heard/read have indicated to me that he's fully recovered and he has re-dedicated himself to the game of football. his dropped pass problem definitely wasn't prevalent in minny, and as fas as i can tell he became, at least for a few games, one of the best receivers in the NFL. some of you may disagree, but what i saw on the field was a different koren robinson.

in seattle, he cried when he didnt get the ball, he was a drunk, and he couldn't keep his hands on the ball. he's changed all that and i agree with someone else who said that Joe might be just the thing to take this guy to the next level. IMO he's a better prospect than reggie wayne considering for most of his career, wayne has had mannning throw him the ball, while koren has had matt hasselbeck, trent dilfer, and brad johnson. HOF v. not even close. the kid is a player, its that simple.

Koren Robinson would be nice but Reggie Wayne would be much nicer. Players from the "U" have only made this team better.

I am confused on why everyone thinks Koren Robinson would make a great fit here in DC. He was invisible all year in Minnesota. He caught one TD this year and it was aganist a sorry Detroit secondary. As far as I know Robinson had only one good year so far in his career and that was like 4 years ago.
He does have good speed, but his hands aren't the best and he does have trouble finding holes in the secondary. He would be a good 3rd option in DC.
I think the best option for DC would be Eric Moulds. I know he is kind of old at 33 but he would be a great #2 guy for the next couple of years. Moulds has maybe lost a step but the man can still play, especially if the opponet's defense has to worry about Moss and Cool

Honestly, I have no idea why people even think that we might get Reggie Wayne. 1) He no longer wants to be a #2, and if he does, he'll just stay in Indy. 2) He is going to want a FAT contract, which we can't afford. So unless he wants #3 Money, we won't get him.

And about Sinorice Moss, even if he was available at our pick (which he won't) I still wouldn't want to sign him. Do I think he'll be good, yes. But I believe he is even smaller than Santana and we don't need/want that. We need a big possession WR. And no that does not mean Koren "Rod Gardner with a drinking problem" Robinson.

Robinson is going to the Pro Bowl as a return man. It wouldn't hurt to give him a shot. It won't take 'Santana money' to sign him. He sounded like he would fit in. He complimented Cool

ey, Moss, Portis and Brunell. If he wants to play here, why not give him a chance? Springs likes him.

I don't know if we can swing signing Wayne, but he was teammates with Santana and they have a good chemistry. Santana said he learned alot playing with Reggie. He said RW was the best route runner he has been around. This would be a great signing in more ways than one.

Just kidding. Noble changed all that for me, plus after reading the NY papers everyday about how Pierce really helped the Giants whoop us good tyhe first game...it never hurts to have an insider to a division rival's game plan on your roster.

There aren't so many big, tall WR's with great hands who are willing to take the trip into No Man's Land and sacrifice all for the team...particularly when the very best ever to do so has yet to be inducted into Canton.

I didn't want to chime in earlier about this topic until I heard the reception to the Koren Robinson question. My cousin, Alvin Keels is a small sports agent and he represents Koren Robinson. I say small because he has less than 10 clients, among them Lamont Jordan, Sam Aiken, Julian Battle, and a few others.

I interned with him the summers before law school and last year and I have met Koren several times. I want to tell everyone that Koren is not an alcoholic. However, in the NFL they treat people who have had alcohol problems (i.e. DUI's, public intoxication, etc) just as if they have violated the NFL drug policy with any other drug. Koren Robinson had a problem with his decisions. He came out of North Carolina State very early and he was only 20 years old when he was drafted 9th overall by Seattle. He made stupid decisions with his money, and due to his physical gifts he took the game for granted and didn't practice as hard. He would stay out and party, and have hangovers at meetings and other things like that.

But at the behest of Keels, when Koren was facing the 4 game suspension for violation of the 'drug policy' with alcohol, Koren went into a rehab facility last year. He completed it successfully and then landed a deal with Minny.

Minny didn't immediately play Koren. He earned his spot on Special Teams and didn't crack the WR lineup until he impressed coaches with his work ethic and maturity. As we know he made the Pro-Bowl.

He signed a one year deal precisely because of the violations and the Vikings wanted a trial run with him.

Koren and Shawn Springs are good friends from the Seattle days. If yall remember last year, I was with my cousin and Robinson the week of the Eagles game where Shawn Springs got hit REAL hard and suffered a concussion. Springs put in a few good words with the org, but that is as far as it stands right now.

So, while I am biased, I think Koren would be a good addition to us. He is from North Carolina and would love to play on the east coast.

** On a side note...it's weird for me. I no longer intern with Globe Management Group but my cousin and I talk all the time. He is an E-gals fan to the core, but he says he wants to get some clients with the Redskins because Daniel Snyder has a good reputation for being very direct and amenable in the negotiation process. We'll see what happens, but I think Minnesota may re-sign him.

And if what you say about Koren is true, and for some reason your argument won me over and I believe you, then yes I would change my mind and give Robinson a shot.
