Yawn

Folks... from now on you're not allowed to talk crap until the game is over. We're changing the message board rules because Vandal makes so many valid points.

If you took the time to read things over in their entirety, you'd see that Seahawk fans have been launching personal attacks, conducting smack outside the smack forum, flaming threads etc etc all week... to the point where we had to make special notice threads for them to try and get them to comply.

So all of the things that you have just accused Redskin fans of have actually been perpetrated a ton more by your own fan base than the Redskins.

I think the only thing that's foolish here is coming in for a snapshot and judging what's foolish.

Again: every year there is a team with the lowest SOS, not every year that team goes on to be the #1 seed. Good teams beat bad ones. Not the other way around. If Seattle did not deserve to be where they are they would have lost quite a good deal more.

As for talking smack about CITIES?! WHAT!? the Skins will win Saturday because Starbucks was started in Seattle!? What!? "Creampuffs" "Khakis" making fun of the teams OWNER? Honestly. A for creativity, F for execution.

the SKins will be fine in this game. I think we will make alot of big plays early that will take away their 12th man

In order to quiet the 12th Man, the Redskins need to have double digits ahead of the Hawks ALL GAME. Because in every game we've played against the NFC East, the Hawks have made 4th quarter comebacks.

Rhew Chur.. The diffrence this time is that there won't be a 4th quarter comeback this time. Now your facing the best D in the NFC east. Our D will keep your entire offense in check all game and your D is nothing like Tampa's is. We'll be able to put up 30+ against your D. Our last 3 regular season games were all against teams with better D then the Hawks and we scored 30+ in each game.

2 of the 3 games the Redskins scored 30+ pts were at home. The offense didn't play that well vs the Eagles. They were losing the Eagles game until the Eagles gave the game away with the turnovers in 4th quarter. The last 3 road games, The Redskins have struggled. The Seahawks will be more healthly.

You have to admit the Seahawks and the Skins have been about as disrespected as teams in their respective places can be. The pressure is on the Hawks…you win and you get credit for what your suppose to do you lose…you were a overrated team and the nay-sayers were right. In fact anything short of a SB victory the media will label you the best team in the inferior conference. I think this play into this weeks game…the Skins are loose and will play as such and can very easily win this game. I like are chance here better than I did in Tampa. That being said congrats on a great season and good luck this week.

I can agree with most of this post (except the Skin's chances being better than the game in Tampa of course)

If Seattle loses, would there be that much of a media outburst??? I think it'll be the same ol Seachokes chokes againtitle, or whatever to that effect.

So there is alot of pressure there, but I ALSO think there's a good amount of pressure from the Skins side of it.

D. Snyder in the past isn't (in my perspective) the easiest owner to play for, so the question is, if the Redskins lose this game, does that have an effect on his decision to change things up again in the organization?

Does that change the way the players play, or the coaches game plan? Probably not, but there is a definite amount of stress bieng put on this Redskin team going from one playoff game on the road, to another playoff game on the road.

I may not know the whole X's & O's of football, but I do know that the Seattle Seahawks organization has gone ALL out this year in getting the best team that they can get on the field.

The front office (Tim Ruskell & among others) has done wonders in getting the right players on the field to keep the negative attitude/energy OFF the field, which in the past has defined the way the Seahawks have played.

I've watched the Hawks a very very long time, and when you watched the team as long as I, you get the feel of the team, where its going, the way the players interact with each other, I dunno........., it just seems like everything is clicking.

So in effect, this'll be my last post here, I'm going to be so busy tommorrow. (

(Friday = busy busy day @ work)

I wish the Redskins a good game, and I also enjoyed the interaction with the posters here. You will not be seeing me on this board after the game. Out of respect.

Much respect to all of you,

Rhew Churyll

It's becomeing clearer and clearer that most of these Seahawks fans have seen very little of this Redskins team. It's not their fault of course, considering that the Redskins aren't nearly the media darlings that the Cowboys and Giants are. To think that this team will fold at the slightest bit of diversity is to express your utter ignorance of the character of this ball club.

It's true. Why would they watch us ? After all, we aren't in their division. I can tell you honestly that I had no idea where DE Wistrom ended up, and that's surprising to me...having once been a rather ardent student of the Pro game. As far as I knew, he was still a Ram, although it turns out he's been a 'hawk for well over a year now.
At the end of the day, I feel good about knowing the Eagles, Giants and 'pukes very well. I'm sure Seattle fans know the Cards,Rams and '9ers just as well.
All I know is, I want my team to win.

I, myself, am just getting used to the new "old" character of my own team...and lovin' it !

All the pressure is squarely on Seattle and the couching staff for a number of reasons. Seattle has the MVP, 13-3 record, #1 seed in NFC, undefeated at home, #1 scoring offense in NFC, your a 10 point favorite blah blah blah etc.....The Skins are like a cinderilla story, beside Skins fans, no-one expects them to go anywhere! Seattle has had a good team now for a few years but they can't get a playoff win, there is so much presure for your coaching staff to finally get a playoff win and esp; with this team. They are shaking in their boots.

I am having a good time laughing at the young posters messages from our side as much as their side. Come on guys!

This is going to be yet another heart-stopping, last-minute, play-call, 2 minute-drill heroic effort type of game.

1) Two competent and classy head coaches who respect one another

2) Two competent running backs who respect one another.

3) Two teams with a lot to prove that they belong in the SB.

It will be a great game. Nobody is shaking in their boots. Everybody is tense with anticipation. Execution and preparation will be the keys.

I say that the team with fewer turnovers wins the game.

RiC

PS Did I mention that both teams have great groups of gorgeous cheerleaders?

 Actually you guys have a larger injury report than we do. We only have one questionable when you guys have more varied/severe outlooks also. I guess that we did you all a lot of good.

Ifyou've been paying attention at all dangerous you'd know that the last 5 games no one has "given" us anything turnovers and respect included. Our team has taken both. And the defense on this team is playing so hard that they outshined the number 1 defense in the league last week. I don't know if you've noticed but your defense isn't even close to first in the league. Furthermore an offense scores based on the performance of the oppositions defense. One thing you can be sure of is that the Redskin's defense will not let you guys rest for even one play. One interception and good old Hasselback will be flustered, that's all it takes to swing momentum our way and it will happen.

Obviously he and his friends dont colloborate on their excuses for their win streak or ours. I hear one chicken say that they're(hawks) suppose to beat the lesser teams and take advantage of the mistakes they win. Yet when we beat teams and we capitalize off of their mistakes its a different story.

I dont care how we win this game, at the end you all will just be bitter fans like the Bucs, Pukes and Gnats.

The Seahawks will be more healthly now than they were during the regular season. The Seahawks had a lot of inujuries especially at WR and DB. Most of their injuried players will play. The injury report didn't include Portis or Brunell who aren't 100%. It also didn't include Wynn or the OL who won't play. The Packers loss meant nothing. Seahawks had already clinched homefield. There are also plenty of Redskins fans on Seahawks websites.

What about the Redskins loss? That mean anything? I didn't see any mention of it.

Is there a point of significance in there somewhere? Well, other than the fact that you seem to be saying that you have a few players that aren't 100%, just like the Redskins do?

Let me reexplain myself. Someone bragged about the Seahawks losing to the Packers after someone mentioned the Redskins losing to the Raiders. That's why I mentioned the Packers loss was meaningless. I never wrote that the Redskins win over the Seahawks was a fluke. It was a close game that could have gone either way. As for the injuries, someone mentioned the Seahawks are more banged up than the Redskins. I simply stated the most of the Seahawks that were injured during the regular season will play and the Redskins also have other players that are banged up besides the ones on the injury report. In other words, my comments were in response to other people's comments.
