http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/s ... id=1749441 He still has not signed but its a killer contract. Its does not have any of the backloading that many big contracts have these days. If Denver is willing to sign Champ to a contract like that I think we could have kept that second pick or at least got one of thiers in return. 27 mil in the first three years. We never could have kept him... oh well
hmmmph... funny how there's not one single derogatory remark at the Broncos for this giant contract eh? The broncos pony up 9 mil a year in the first 3 years and the words irresponsible or lavish don't even spring to mind.
Another brilliant plate of garbage from the Pastabelly.
Sean Taylor was one of a kind, may he rest in peace.
Dang Champ..gettin paid like one for sure....I Hella hate that champ is gone, but my boy is just too expensive... I'm definitely not for giving up a 2nd round pick tho'...clearly should be an even trade!!
2005: Skins make the playoffs...Redskins fan in OAKLAND...yup, Anything Can Happen..
That contract is absolutley giagantic. I hope everyone sees that it was more than a few measly million dollars Champ was leaving for. Since the contract is backloaded, he is going to be a far richer man than he would have been if he signed the Redskins offer.
