JR's run obvious #1 for me but a close 2nd is Darrel Greens 52 yrd punt return for TD in the freezing cold at the Bears to help win a playoff game. About half way through the run he had to wrench his body and hurdle an on-coming defender. The wrenching caused on of his ribs to separate from it's cartilage which is EXTREMELY painful. He finished the return for a TD holding his side wincing in pain.... wow!

man after reading this i sure have realized that some of you guys are really young and some of you guys are really old. but seeing as how i am die hard i know the full history of our great franchise, i understand what these old cats are talking about. i have to give you young guys credit b/c you haven't had much to cheer for. clinching the division in 99 favorite moment? that wouldn't even be in my top 20. Riggo's run has to be number one w/ a bang. the 82 title game has to be #2 the deafening roars of we want dallas and just the pure jubilation of the city brings tears to my eyes. DG's punt return in 87 was special and the first skins game i ever attended was in that snow storm back in 82 when mosley hit that fg i was there w/ my dad, doesn't get any better than that. the whole 91 season, the only one i can think of since our demise is when emmit threw the ball back into the endzone that was great, and the last game at RFK which i was at and still own the sod from. i also have to rank the return of gibbs up there b/c for me it was a dream come true. still months later i am choked up about the *sh$t*. if only people knew how much this franchise meant to us.

While Riggens run and Greens punt return are 2 of the greatest plays I've ever seen. I think my favorite was in the 82 NFC Championship. It was late in the game and Dallas had the ball 4th and short they lined up and attempted to draw the Skin's offsides nobody moved so Danny White audilbed to a play that the Skin's stuffed to get the ball back. A replay showed Tom Landry screaming "NO Danny NO!" as White changed the play. It was great seeing Landry lose His cool and I still smile whenever I think of it.

I have to go with Riggin's run. It is not only the most memorable for me, but my first Redskins memory. I was 7 and I don't remember much of the game, but the image of him dragging that guy down the field before shedding him like an old coat and scoring is burnt into my mind forever.

Another vote for Riggins' run in SB17. Living in England, football had only just started being shown regularly on TV. Before that it was just highlights and newspaper cuttings sent by my folks to me at school.

Probably the first game I ever watched live from beginning to end and what a game. I will remember it for ever.

Also, chants of "we want Dallas" in the Championship game.

Anyone remember the 44-38 win over the Vikes when Max Zendejas missed a hatful of PATs. 12 points down I think late in the fourth and he keeps missing! We tie it at 38 and win in OT. Jay Schroeder was QB. Was that '86?

D Green's punt return against the bears when he pulled cartilage in his rib cage. The guy is the most unselfish professional sports athlete I have ever seen. Sure wish we could draft him all over again..
