Ryan Clark quote on Joe Gibbs...

Post by WshSkins22 »

I was watching comcast, and Clark was explaining why Gibbs is such a successful coach. Im paraphrasing, but he said somehting like this, " How can you not play hard for a guy like Coach Gibbs? When we're losing, he takes all of the blame, and when were winning he gives the players all of the credit. How can you not play hard for a guy like that?"

That quote made me appreciate Gibbs even more
" But you should've seen Joe (Gibbs) when they said he couldn't coach anymore...his chest puffed out and said..i dont care what it takes, were not leaving here without another ring." Coach Joe Bugel

He is like a Sean Taylor Jr, just nicer

I watched him limp off the field and come right back. I've seen him face down on the turf and come back.
He's tough, and he's cool. I like him.
I wish Bowen had the constitution this guy has.

I told yall Bowen wasn't going to beat my boy Clark out for the starting position. The boy is a beast and I've met Marcus too but Clark imo is the nicest Skin I've met. Clark is a 10 on the nice scale, I'd give Marcus a 9.99 on the scale.

He's the only player that has acted to me like he wasn't in a rush to move on. Not to speak badly about our other guys but he let me pull me aside and speak to him briefly not too long ago. The guy is great.

Greetings from South Florida. Life long Skins fan here, born and raised in Maryland (Go Terps :D ) Love this site!

Great post and all good points are made by Clark. I would like to add one more observation of Gibbs character. In press confrences and interviews, he ALWAYS makes a point to honor and thank the Skins fans. It seems that he will even go out of his way to give some love for the fans. Just an observation that makes me really love being a part of this great fan base. What do you guys and gals think? Hail to Joe Gibbs!!! :hail:

I'd like to thank the Giants organization for telling Pied Piper Piccalo that he is too small and would never make it in the NFL before tossing him on the garbage heap.

Bet they would have liked to have him back their when Moss was torching Will Allen. ;-)
