Defensive TD's Seattle 3 Washington 2
Sacks per season Seattle 50 1st NFL Washington 35 20th NFL
The only advantage I could find for Washington over Seattle is their passing defense Passing Yards allowed per game Seattle 222.4 25th NFL Washington 192.6 10th NFL (interesting stat here is the top 4 passing yards per game allowed leaders in the NFL) 1. Green Bay Packers 2. NY Jets 3. NO Saints 4. Cleveland Browns So I wasn't too sure how much faith to put in this stat, but shouldn't leave out the only real advantage the Skins had all season long
I flew to Washington and went to the game. Very nice Stadium. Fans were solid and so much red I couldn't believe it. If any of you were at that Seahawks loss there as well, and happened to be in line after the game for the bus to our parking lot. And happened to see the idiots burning a Shaun Alexander jersey about 12 spots ahead of me. Be sure that we will not be burning anything Redskins after the game on Saturday. Thanks to those who made my trip special.
That's a lot of info Thanks... I still can seem to find out when was the last time the Seahawks actually advanced in the playoffs. The Hawks make the playoffs every now and then but I can't seem to find the victory. I"m sure I must have missed it somewhere. Can one of you extremely knowledgable Hawks fans help a brother out?

Hey case you didn't notice you are in the second round. You are flying to seattle because you "advanced" in the playoffs. So to make it as easy to understand as possible, we're both in the second round this year. Pick up a newspaper, or read espn.com. Do something, cause ignorance is not bliss, it's annoying.
Ron Simmons Redskins 1983-1985. 1984 Superbowl Champion. He's got your back.
I'm a little piglet, hope to be a little piggy before Sunday, because after I come on here and gloat for hours and feed off your misery, its off to the next forum sight, and read about how lucky we were, and how its a fluke. But at least I'll have the tears of a million Washingtonians to help me through. Toodles

Unable to quote a post and then mentioning ignorance is about what I expected.
The Question was when was the last time the Hawks WON A PLAYOFF GAME. They didn't win to get to the 2nd round. So what's the answer to this question? No one asked you what it felt like to be ignorant

I'm only quoting this so everyone will understand why you won't be around after Sat. But we all know that you'll be over at the Hawks board scream how you just don't understand what happen. I'll give you a few days to figure it out, then I come over and point out the obvious reasons why the Hawks will be watching us next week

I admit it. The Seattle fans are right. The Redskins haven't a chance. All the numbers don't lie, and football is all about statistics, isn't it?. Just add them up: not a chance, not a prayer for the pathetic Redskins. Sure enough, Gibbs is too old to coach in the NFL. The game passed him by. Back in 1992, the defenses hadn't invented the blitz, right? The Redskins offense won't gain 10 yards. The Seattle offense will shred the Redskins.
It's so clear, and all the experts agree, so why not just skip the game?
Hasn't it been proven, at least seventeen times and then some, that Joe Gibbs can't motivate his team in a high-pressure game?
Maybe if this was Fantasy Football or something where a teams heart and desire actually matter you know?
But oh well, I guess we are lucky enough to play in the NFC East and we rarely get to play the 49ers unlike those unlucky Seahawks. I mean, then we would have to score 52 points again just to match our previous total agianst them.
Oh well Welch, I guess DJack is right, emotion, heart, and coaching don't matter in the playoffs, just stats...

Anyway...
Seattle is going to win this game, and it'll be EASY. Your offense was horrible against the Bucs, and even if our defense is not as good, we have a far more productive offense than you guys. Good luck next year, as far as getting in the playoffs goes.
I like your bird! Kinda looks like Holmgren after a few beers!
Taylor and Landry will take no Prisoners!! - I just can't bring myself to delete it!
I think I touched a nerve. I appologize. I never meant to get you all worked up over this you should be enjoying your win over the bucs, not so upset about the prospect of flying 3000 miles with out your starting end and starting guard, an offense that had 120 total yards last week, and maybe a game suspension of a truely wonderful human being thats taking the Romanowski approach to player relations. Yep, focus on the savor of a first round win, instead of polling to who you would rather play next week, the only game the skins will be playing in 2 weeks is Madden 2006. Peace out

Cryin? Do you mean the way your BirdTurds cried after the LOST to us in the regular season?

Jackson, Engram and Alexander. Piloted by a Hasselbeck brother.
Fully capable of putting points on the board.
'Hawks were perfect at home this year, right ?
Holmgren has never beaten Washington. He's 0-4.
Seattle last won a playoff game in '84. Gibbs knows playoffs. Gibbs knows loud stadiums.
We have a very good shot at walking away winners here. Very good shot.
We also are well aware that the Seahawks have had two weeks to get ready for somebody...but are they ready for us ? Every game for the last six weeks has been a playoff game.
For you guys ? Not so much.
I think Santana is gonna love Qwest Field. I know Portis will feast on that lower middle of the pack defense.
Springs, Daniels...old Seahawks. They know what to do.
Brunell ? Alumni, baby. He knows the weather.
Just bring it.
"Sit back and watch the Redskins.
SOMETHING MAGICAL IS ABOUT TO BEGIN!"

Even your moderators are getting the picture now, why don't you all fall in line, and acknowledge the facts. Oh and Portis is still banged up, I hear nerve damage in his shoulder. He should do a puppet show for you all, instead of risking serious injury. Maybe you guys should come up with 15,000 dollars and bail out Timmy Smith, sprinkle some blow in the end zone and let him go! Oh I could go on for hours.
