Who will sign TO next season?

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

No. TO basically told Childress to go fornicate himself, and they weren't on speaking terms for about half a month.

PT42 - you are correct. That was the catalyst for him being sent home from training camp.

Rumour has it that some in Tampa are considering him.
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

Simms said he wants him there. From Meshawn to TO.

Via Hilliard, who is serviceable, but no lights out anymore.
Anywhere but here. Did he ever have a huge game against us ?

TO, will make any young QB look like a veteran. If he learned his lesson and shuts up and just plays he will make Simms, Vick, E.Manning etc...all into excellent QB's.

TO being signed to help a young QB grow would take more than a one year deal and there won't be too many front offices willing to give him more than a year or so because of his track record.

Simms is a RFA this off season so you'd be looking at picking up Simms and TO in free agency and sending a pick to Tampa. If Tampa keep Simms can they afford TO? And what do they do with Brain Grease? BTW Chucky can't handle T.O. (remember Meshawn?)

It would be a power struggle in ATL and Mora would be the odd man out, the results would show on the field.

Eli has Plaxico and hasn't figured out what to do with him yet.

I stand corrected Gruden was quoted today as saying he would be very interested in TO.

Guess we won't be seeing the BUcs in the playoffs next year

Eveybody thinks TO won't be wanted by lots of teams but I think thats BS. I think almost evey team will be interested, he is a big gamble but it could payoff big-time! I feels lots of teams are will to take the risk, to win right away.

:o Perfect match!

While I do agree that scenario has Al Davis & the Raiders written all over it, I can't see us doing it... WR is one position that we do have depth at! We need help at QB, DE, OL & OLB first!

Why would you want TO when you have Moss. TO and Moss on the same team :-k two very big ego's they will complain about not enough passes. There are a bunch of other teams that need that #1 WR ie; KC, Falcons, Denver cuz Rod Smith is retiring.

but
ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported.

Is Mortensen trustworthy? Or is this like English soccer-football, where agents are always starting rumors that some team is interested in -- "linked with" -- their client. Then the teams fans -- oops, "supporters" -- demand that the team pay big-time to get the guy.

I can't guess where Owens will end up, but I'm sure it won't be with the Redskins...so I don't care.

Knowing TO, he's probably gonna have that "breakout season" of his to "shut up everyone"

I wouldn't put it past him to play motivated football for a year and then try to con someone the next season.

He's done it before.

TO will be a Redskin in training camp next year. Whether he makes the cut after training camp ends is another question. Whether he finishes the season with the Redskins is yet another question

And Sean Salisbury is going to walk from Bristol, CT to Washington DC!
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

That would be a worse move than signing The Athlete Formerly Known As Prime Time.

"In Gibbs We Trust" to not allow such chicanery.

Dude, I know your a Skins fan but this makes no sense. Why would Gibbs sign him and IF they did you actually think he would get cut after traing camp and not make the team. :hmm: He would have to be signed before entering camp.

We can't afford TO (and I mean that on multiple, multiple levels).

When TO left San Fran, the Eagles looked like the too-good-to-be-true matchup, and it happened. I see something similar happening with Atlanta possibly.

Think he'd go back to the Ravens? They could use a good receiver. . .

If TO goes to Dallas, will we see touchdown celebrations on the star?

He'd get lynched before they'd let him.
