Going to Seattle
I don't know about you guys but I plan to go to Seattle. I haven't asked the wifey but her bestfriend lives there and I'm set up to get tickets on Ticketmaster. Airfare is 200.00 per person from LA.
Lets go Skins....Bring on Seattle.

You know Seattle doesn't want any part of us
I'm sure they were rooting for the Bucs to win. Anyway, we have beaten the toughest defense we will see. The Bears are still out there, but I'm confident our offense is better than theirs, and our D is awesome. One win at a time.

His accuracy was off due to an incessant pass ruch by the top ranked defense in the NFL.
We've already gotten through tougher obstacles. There is no one lef tin the field that we haven't already beaten besides Carolina...and how hard is that ?

I figured I help y'all out a bit on some information.
Most visiting fans like to sit behind their own teams bench, and thats on the 100-114 (lower seating) seating and 300-319 (nose bleed)
If you sit on that side, know that your fully in the elements. The way the weather system works in Seattle is most of the time winds blow from West to East. And those sections I mentioned above are on the East side.
Tickets do go on sale on the 9th at 10:00am pacific 1:00pm eastern.
Click Qwest Stadium for more Info, and have a good time. (even though y'all will lose

Excuse me...but we've already made to the next round. I know Seattle doesn't have a defense though, so you don't count them as a team (round); is THAT what you're trying to say ?

lol
I don't know how I am going to get tickets, and I do not want to be surrounded by Seattle fans. How do I find a ticket in the Redskins section?
You will be surrounded by the loudest fans in the NFL. But you will like the quest field better than FED EX, since we have more that 1 vendor for food, many diff types, and oh yea, our 7.75 16 oz beers. I hope you get my section 328. You'll leave by the end of the third. Save your money, watch it at a bar so you can drink away your tears.

wow how did you end up in Korea?
Long story. I'd love to tell it to you tailgating in Seattle.
As it turns out, my buddy in Seattle is out of town this weekend, so now I am really debating whether to go to the game. It just seems a little extreme to fly all the way from Korea to Seattle to go to a Redskins game -- alone -- in a hostile environment. Even though it has been so long . . .
If any of you guys are not sure whether to go, and find yourself in a similar situation, let's get some tickets near the Redskins tunnel and go!

Anytime you go to another teams stadium, you have to expect some smack talk. But Hostile?? Seattle?? You really shouldn't worry.
Qwest Stadium is a really neat stadium with a good view from just about every seat.
Like I mentioned before, most visitors sit on the visiting side, and usually we get a good gathering of visiting fans.
Qwest stadiums security has a card they give out with a cell number on it, its called the Courtesy card. If your are bieng harrassed you call up this number and security will help you.
I've had to use it a couple of times when a person sitting nearby or right beside me would be stinking drunk and needs to be takened out of the stadium.
If you decide to come to Seattle, do it knowing if team wins or loses, you will have a fun time.
Any other questions let me know

I live in Seattle....
Longtime member, infrequent poster.
I live in Seattle, and will be going to the game. TM sold out in 20 minutes, so I'll be scouring the tix sites today and tomorrow.
If anyone makes it out here and wants to meet up, let me know by PM.
I live in West Seattle and will probably take the water taxi to the stadium on Saturday. My wife and I just moved into a new place, and don't have the second bedroom set up yet....so the only thing I can offer is a futon mattress on the floor
As far as the game itself is concerned, I think that the intensity of just a few thousand Redskin fans would overwhelm the SeaChickens fans...they just don't seem to have the fire that East Coast fans do. There's absolutely nothing to fear as an opposing fan here.
Hope to see some of you Saturday.

alright
I've read yhe other posts, and yes we got lucky, and yeas our schedule is cake, and yes Gibbs is great, blah, blah, blah. Like another skin mentioned if the game is over already, why are they playing it. Our past is just that, the past. But here is one thing I know for fact, my 10th year of season tickets for the hawks, in the past years the stadium could be 50/50 or worse with opposing fans. This has changed over the last three years. Seattle is a band wagon city and they support what team is winning now. So you will prolly not be able to buy tickets, and you will get heckled wearing your Moss jersy. Things will be thrown at you, and it will be the loudest game you have ever been to. I have witnessed it every game this year. In fact our fans have made the national news spotlight for loud. Also if we talk about the past, it was Seattle that caused the NFL to make anti noise rules for games too, back in the kingdome. So believe what you want, think it will be just like going to Fed EX, but it will be the most sureal thing you have witnessed win or loose.

I've never seen ANYONE throw anything at a fan from an opposing team visiting at Qwest, you will get heckled, but thats about the gist of it.
Now granted I've not been to every home game (because of my location) but throwing trash at someone is low, and I'll back up any visiting fan before I side with a hostile crowd. Thats freaking not classy.

I've always liked the Hawks as long as they weren't playing the Skins but their misguided fans & media are turning my stomach. They, for the most part, don't even consider this a game. They act like it's just one big party for them before they go to the Super Bowl. As if we're some crappy opponent you invite to homecoming week to insure a win in front of the alumni...in other words like when the Cowpukes inducted the "tripletts" into their "ring of honor" when they played us in September. The Seattle Post-Intelligencer called us nothing more than a "speedbump". Pretty cocky if you ask me considering they haven't won a playoff game in 21 years and already lost to us once this year.
