Hmmm 3 years. Coach Gibbs will be here for 3 more years, coincidence, I think not! He's our next head coach fellas! Woman's intuition strikes again, ok so it was just an educated guess. Either way it was right!

Hellllllllllllllllll yeeeeeeeeeah!!!!!! This makes me so happy. I was worried but I knew Greg wouldn't let us down. With all of these coaches changing around after this year and us having ours in line for 3 years, we will be at the top when it comes ot having a coaching staff in place for a while. This will really help us out I believe. Giants Coordinator, and Parcells possibly leaving as well.
HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!!

I knew it since day one. Who better for a failed head coach to learn from than the Master himself Joe Jackson Gibbs. G-dub was being groomed the whole time and you can see his progress. I see playoff for many years to come Lombardi trophies on the horizon.
Prepare for the rise of a new golden era
The Gibbs-Williams Dynasty!!!!

CONTINUITY is RIGHT!
Wow! A d-Coordinator who stays more than 2 years! Thats the first time in a Looooong time!
What a great move!!
Locking William's ass up for 3 years and giving him the reins after Gibbs retires to NASCAR again... SWEET!
First a playoff berth and now This!
Things are going the Skins way..............

Just beat Dallas - they are A-H****
Could it be
. . . that be coaching has a genuine feeling that we are a year or two away from the Super Bowl? That's why GW re-upped.

And allow me to give much deserved credit to Mr. Dan Snyder who I have been critical of over the years. He hired our beloved Joe Gibbs, turned control over to him and put this franchise back on track. Now the pre-emptive strike to keep Gregg Williams in the family is the cherry on top. Well done!
After every game, every play & every highlight, I'll always remember #21. RIP Sean.

If anyone has Serius, they made a call to the Redskins to find out if there is going to be a press conference, etc. Chnl 124 if you have it...I'll post anything I hear if it's worthy.

Great news and I think a lot of us knew we were not going to "let him go" per se. Thank you Gibbs and Thank you Dan Snyder. And this is very good for all concerned including the defensive players, most of all.
I also find it amusing that some refer to his time at Buffalo as a "failure" or less than very good. Now as a head coach he did not get much credit for what his players did (OR did not do!) but you do not get a Joe Gibbs visit and the sort of "deal" he got if you are not a highly successful coach. This guy is very respected for a reason - he is good!
The words "failure" and "disapointing" should not be used when describing this coach. He is a huge success as a coach and as a man. That's why he is here.

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)
