This makes the Orioles a heck of a ballclub...when you consider Burnitz was just added.

I don't think it's gonna happen. Just a day or two ago, the Orioles said they are abandoning their pursuit of trading Tejada.

But it is very interesting.

Still, as a Yankee fan...watching what the Jays have done, and how the Orioles are shaping up...
It kinda sucks. :)

How does that suck? The O's have done nothing. Their best player wants to leave. Their best reliever already did (in their own division). They have no Ace pitcher (Bedard won't cut it). If it was the mid-90's, Burnitz would have made a difference on this team.

They aren't done yet, Jake.
Remember, the Yanks had no interest in Damon.
I hate that signing, even if it's a good move.

Manny AND Clement for Tejada?!?!?!?!?! NO WAY!!! Tejada ain't worth all that. If this trade happens the Red Sox are gonna suck this year. And they would seriously need to fire some people in that front office!

As a Sox fan, this is going to be a rough year. Loosing Daemon and now this -- Tejada's great and all, but I'm really gonna miss seeing Manny at the plate.
"The biggest misrepresentation there is that [it's because] Dan's got a lot of money. That's not it," Gibbs said. "We've got a rule. Believe me, if we had no rules, Dan would spend some money."

Im glad Tejada is leaving, I hate to see players lose good times with loser franchises. The O's dont want to suceed and never will. Even though Im not a baseball fan I got a washington cap yesterday. Maybe Ill try to follow them.
