Game Day Observations

Post by Justice Hog »

The Fans

Oh my god! This place was electric today! I am very proud to say that I've been a season ticket holder for 2 years now . . . and this was the most energetic, electric, loud, passionate (throw whatever other adjective you can think of here) I have ever seen our fans! It was truly unbelievable . . . and yes, my voice will probably be horse for a full week. As the 12th Man, we definitely represented all Redskins fans well today!!!

Prior to going into the game, even the tailgating took on a new level . . . as folks decided to set the Cowboys on flames early!

Defense

The Redskins defense came to play today. Who said our secondary was too banged up to play?!?! (Oh yeah, that was me!) Regardless, this unit set the house on fire and took it to the Cowboys. They never had a chance. Outstanding effort.

Offense

The offense did a great job of taking what the Cowboys gave them today and capitalizing on it. Often times in the past, they just didn't "follow through". Today they did just that. A great effort.

What a great victory.

Can someone say SWEEP?!?!?

HOW 'BOUT DEM COWBOYS?!?!?!

Can anybody say:

SWEEP?

Yes we can say:

SWEEP!

Two more to go out of the five we set to obtain.

What a game! What a game! PERFECTLY EXECUTED.

By far THE best game I've witnessed at FedEx Field. A lot of pent up frustration was released during the entire game. I felt renewed. High fiving, screaming, chanting, and hugging complete strangers was simply amazing!!

After the game, walking back to the car was magical. Very emotional.

Hail to my REDSKINS!!!!!!

Ha! I've been checking the site daily for that photo in the Galleries section. That was out our tailgate. It was great. There were probably around 40 people gathered around while we played Hail to the Redskins and torched the Cowboy!

Funny thing...after they set the Cowboy on fire, the parking attendant rushed over and said something along the lines of, "I'm gonna have you arrested!" Within 2 minutes, the flames were out . . . and the evidence was gone. Good luck with that prosecution!

Then again, I suppose they could log on here and capture my picture as evidence.

Oops. Sorry.

Word is that she is still trying to summon someone on her walkie-talkie! She really overreacted to a harmless little pep rally.

I do not think that was harmless. Fire is a serious thing and if you've ever been traumitized to the devastation it can have then you'd be singing a different tune.

I hate the Cowboys as much as anyone but that was taking it too far. And it was a wee bit tasteless in my opinion.
Whenever I start to get blue, I just breathe!

You obviously don't disdain the Cowboys as much as I do. It was harmless by the way.
