CAN YOU SAY CLICK!?

Post by redskinsranger »

It just kind of hit me but I think the world just heard a loud CLICK coming from somewhere near Redskins Park. Yes, I think the team has finally hit that nitch, snapped and clicked, and is not the team that has played 13 other games, that Cowboys games showed that we got something right, now how to use it, and we are going to win out, Guarnteed! i just hope all the guys who got burned on the pro bowl come out playing like they've got something to prove. Also, this team knows that they need to winout to go to the playoffs. If they loose then the other teams will move up. The also have to payback the Giants b/c of the slaughter they gave us earleier this year.

I think a huge part of that loud click noise came from the o-line, lets just hope the old man can hold up and do a decent job.

I couldn't agree more. The o-line is certainly the engine that makes this team go.

When this team is clicking this offense id absolutely deadly, as good as any in the league and able to score with anyone in the NFL. Just look at the San Fran and Dallas games and the second half of the Tampa Bay game. When this team executes this offense can't be stopped. It just isn't possible to shut down Portis and Moss when you also face the threat of Sellers and Cooley not only run blocking but also going out on screens and intermediate passing routes. There is a reason that Gibbs is regarded as an offensive genius.

At times the offense hasn't been very good but I look at it this way. If any of you are golfers you may understand this analogy. When Tiger came out on tour he was amazing. In his first full year he won the Masters just dominating everyone else out there. But then he completely reworked his swing, just as gibbs reworked this offense, and for a few years people thought it was a huge mistake. Then he came out and won four majors in a row, a feat that nobody had ever accomplished. Once it all "clicked" for him and he started to execute, he was unstoppable. The moral is, it takes time for changes to take hold. Sometimes you have to take a few steps back in order to make a huge leap forward down the road. You can't just turn things around overnight. This team is showing me it is ready to take that next step and become a dominating team on both sides of the ball. I agree with you completely redskinsranger, things seem to be starting to click right now.

No worries - think of it like this: if both teams play their best game, we win! No question!

Just have to hope we continue to show that same intensity we had last week. Last time we played the giants we were coming off a blow out against the 49ers and we here thought they were finally "getting it"! :thump:

We just need to keep the focus and do some hitting, PLUS - we have Gibbs (& Williams) Now, lets see! who would you rather have getting a team ready to play a very important game in December?

We just need to win this game, this week.

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

although the Giants have a better record, it seems like the cowboys have more talent overall, and you all remember what we did to them.

I am pumped for this game!
