Post by Justice Hog »

Just wondering, with most of the season behind us now...who is your favorite current Redskins player?

Chris Cooley, Santana Moss, Randy Thomas

Post by old-timer »

Did you see Cooley jumping up and down like a little kid when Betts got his touchdown? This guy is what the Redskins are all about.

Thanks to Santana Moss for bringing back our passing game. He's like Gary Clark with an extra burst of speed and he catches anything in the same zip code.

Randy Thomas - a worthy successor to the Hogs. Hope he heals well in time for next minicamp.

Hard to say. I love cooley (esp. cause im from UTAH!!) and love Sean Taylor and L.A. And Mos def cant forget about Marcus. But i had to go with CP. He has impressed me so much in his maturity this year. He truly wants to win and is a leader. He hasnt complained about changing his running style or not getting carries or anything. He just busts his A$$ and plays hard every sunday. I also love his toughness! Hes a warrior, and also a very good blocker. Defenses better watch out.... Sherif gon getcha!

I would say Cooley, but one of the guys I like watching the most is #95, Joe Salave'a... watching this guy on defense, he is definately one of the most excited players out there, plus watching Marcus Washington and Sean Taylor getting the D-Line to dance, this guys has taken off on his own, you always see him dancing now, in between plays as the crowd gets louder while waiting for the offense to come to the line... I just gotta say watching him dance is great, haha.

I think this list(poll) goes to show how many great and/or solid players we have on our team.

Not many holes other then good depth at some positions.

This list could be atleast 3X as long if you ask me.

Since I had to pick one, I went with Portis.

He has really stepped up this year as a leader,
is a better RB this year, can block, is not selfish,
plays hurt, and I like his interviews.

Wait, dangit... Guess Marcus Washington.

I love me some Marcus, so it is "other".

Might be Richard Smith, actually...

Hey, actually thats a good idea. I think Cory is much better than Ray Brown, but I'm not sure how different Center is from Guard...

But at the beginning of the season, Patrick was my favorite, but how can you not appreciate/love Clinton Portis?

He keeps the team loose with his interviews and is the so called Marcus Washington of the Offense, meaning he never takes a play off.

If we are going to get to the playoffs, it's because of Clinton Portis.

Rock Cartwright!!! May be the smallest guy on the team, but the man is just simply that, a man. At 5'7" 223 lbs, this guy represents his name well. Came into the league as a fullback; worked his arse off in the offseason, after spurrier was let go, to become a running back and he made the roster. probably one of the hardest workers on the team.

There are not one but TWO Skins defenses:

A -great- one with Cornelius Griffin and

the -good- one without him.

Look at the numbers in both cases. Tiki Barber is going NOWHERE through the middle this week. It is a TEAM but Cornelius is underappreciated by fans and the media.
Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!

Sean Taylor is my favorite. I love his intensity and that swagger he brings.

He's a good person to, I saw that 1st hand on Saturday. He's not the monster people make him out to be. He has his moments like any other player but he has his bright spots too.
The road to the number 1 pick gaining speed!
