Fanboy? Ive had a 360 since the night of its launch. I actually just finished playing it.
If you want realtime PS3 footage download the MGS4 movie and demo. Its all real time and was being controlled by Hideo. Snakes mustache in MGS4 has more vertices in it than an entire enemy in MGS3.

The Xbox 360’s second week on the charts, though, has been even more disappointing than the first, with the console, showing 8,623 units sold, failing to outsell even the GameCube. This is a performance so far in Japan beneath even the low standards of the original Xbox’s launch - in large part thanks to the continued non-appearance of Dead or Alive 4 or any other prominent Japanese-developed titles.
The PlayStation 2 was the third best selling console this week in Japan, with a 8.92 percent market share and 55,342 units sold. The Game Boy Advance family of consoles was next with a 5.48 percent overall share (Game Boy Advance SP: 19,098, Game Boy Micro: 14,432, Game Boy Advance: 416), followed by the GameCube at 2.88 percent and 17,849 units sold. Despite plenty of stock the Xbox 360, as mentioned, could manage only a 1.39 percent market share and 8,623 units sold, beating only the original Xbox on 0.03 percent and 182 units sold.

Huge? I wouldn't say huge. Sony still owns 50%+ of the market share but MS has definately made themself a mainstay.
However the ONLY reason MS survived is because of its deep pockets, I dont have the reports on my PC but you wouldn't believe how much money the loss on each xbox.

They own 50% of the market because they are a better known brand, and they have license agreements with certain manufacturers that XBOX doesnt have. XBOX has more quality games, but Sony has more quantity. The bottom line.... Ford sells more cars than Mercedes, but which would you rather have???

I don't know about that. What does the XBOX have that the PS2 doesn't? Halo, that's it. Now let's look at PS2 - GTA (at least they come out six months earlier), Grand Turismo, Tekken, Katamari, God of War, MGS and the list goes on and on. There is no comparison, there are A LOT more good games for PS2 than for XBOX. Halo isn't anything special anyway, it's just a really good FPS. It's not like its a groundbreaking game or anything. XBOX games are nowhere near as good as PS2 games, they may have better graphics but that's it.
