We should start a petition for Roy williams to get suspeded or have a fine. He could have seriously hurt Clinton Portis like he did to Terrell Owens. If we start a petitionyou got my name!

Yeah I almost threw a fit when I saw Roy Williams grabbing Portis. Roy is always tackling people from behind, what a terrible safety.

352 carries 1516 yards 11 TDs
30 receptions 216 yards 0 TDs
1/2 17 yards 1 TD 118.8

Yes...legal. But only a few inches away from illegal.

They are dirty players man. Instead of going for the legit tackle they automatically grab up top to horsecollar

i'm just curious, since they boldly instituted the horse-collar tackle rule, how many have been called? i have yet to see one in any game this year.

I'd like for them to institute a "No choking the runner by grabbing onto his jersey from behind" rule... Clinton probably couldn't breath when he needed to most...

I've taught my midget league players from day one that the proper way to tackle is head up and across the body. Every tackle won't be ideal, but Williams sure seems to have his share of grabbing from behind. That comes from being out of position.

exactly. the Roy Williams "Tackle" is a savagely cowardly way to atone for a mistake you made to let the guy get by you.

the problem right now is that the NFL rule states that if you grab the jersey and don't get inside the pads, it is legal. this is absolute nonsense! it has the EXACT same physcal effect, it should be illegal either way!

until the NFL gets a brain and changes the rule, this pathetic criminal is going to continue getting away with this every single week. not only should it be a penalty, if he EVER does it again, he should be banned from the NFL.

Listen people, when you always having to tackle people from behind, it's only natural to grab the back of their shirt.

He should patent his form of trackling, so people aren't as suprised to see it happen. The man is a joke at his position. Thank the Lord we have the best safety in Sean Taylor.
Back and better than ever!
