I'm ready for war!!!
I'm ready to go to war on sunday. You know I always her the story about how John Riggns and the skins went to the Super Bowl in '83 wearing army fatigues saying that they were ready for war. Today was the first time that I actually felt the signifigance of it.
I'm 17 years old and I can honestly say (besides the SB's that I am pretty much too young to remeber). This is going to be the biggest game of my life.
The Dallas Cowboys at home in front of 92,000 screaming fans. Itjust doesn't get any bigger than that.
Every where I go, at school, around my neighboorhood, all I hear is Redskins-Cowboys. A game this big just really makes you sit back and reflect on all the games this year and in the past.
You think about all you've been through with this team. The good and the bad.
It also makes you think about every Dallas Cowboy fan you've argued with over the years. Quite frankly it's pretty overwhelming. All these emotions just start to come out.
THe main one feel though is that rage. That fire. That passion that you feel before playing in a big game.
It's a mix of that love you feel for the redskins and the hatred twoards the Dallas Cowboys.
This feels like so much more than just a football game. It's going to be a war. And the only way we're coming out on top is if we're all ready to go.
Players, Coaches, Fans, on all levels. Fighting for the person next to you. The person next to you fighting for you.
This Sunday we need to be together, and we need to be ready. We need to be ready for the fight of our lives.
I know what kind oif Heart this team has. They won't quit, just like we won't quit. I'm so hyped right now that I could go play in this game.

The simpliest Scenario:
1. Redskins need to win out.
2. Giants lose to Chiefs and Skins win out...Skins win Division.
3. Skins win out and Atlanta & Minny loose one of their remaining games....we take wildcard.
There are other scenarios, but those are the most likely.
SPIT HAPPENS!!

This game scares me. I see the Skins putting 7 or 8 in the box to stop the running game. Cowboys will then go to the air against a hurting Redskins secondary. Drew will hit his targets all day because the Redskins simply have no pass rush.
Plain and simple - the only way we win this game is if we are able to get to Drew and shake him up. If we put pressure on him, we'll beat the Cowboys. If we don't, we lose.

I agree with you but I dont think it'll be that bad. Look who we faced last week. Larry F. and Boldin, those 2 alone are more dangerous than a 4 WR set from the Cowboys. We'll do fine. Why? Heres why.
Their running game will be stifled. They'll be forced to pass. They WONT complete every pass. Incomplete passes stop the clock thus lowering time of possession. Increased passing = INT's. We've been forcing fumbles and picking off passes a lot lately. We will be fine, we've faced worst.

You're really not giving Glenn, Key, Witten and Crayton enough credit. I can only hope Gregg Williams thinks like you do.Chris Luva Luva wrote:Justice Hog wrote:This game scares me. Im not saying your guys are bad. Not at all, you have a nice WR corps, tons better than ours. You feel better?
However, I stand by my belief that Boldin, Fitz and their slot are far deadlier combo than yours. Im not including Witten cus he's a TE. My point was just that we faced a deadlier WR corps and held them in check. However you guys have a running game we can't ignore like we could with the cardinals, you're definately more balanced.

We also have a QB that can get them the ball...as long as you protect him for 5 secondsChris Luva Luva wrote:Im not saying your guys are bad. Not at all, you have a nice WR corps, tons better than ours. You feel better?

I am just like a kid counting the hours. Biggest game since Joe came back for sure.
I am so focused on it that my family now knows that they should not be talking too much to me about anything. They are letting me be.
This means A LOT to all of us in the Redskin Nation.

Daniel Snyder has defined incompetence, failure and greed to true Washington Redskins fans for over a decade and a half. Stay away from football operations !!!
