No. 2 Receiver? Look for the Off-season.

Talk about the Washington Football Team here. Do you bleed burgundy and gold?

Correct me if im wrong but is'nt TJ Housmenzadah a free agent after this season. I would LOOOOOOVE to get this guy if he is. He's everything we need in a receiver, ALWAYS consistent. He's given other secondaries fits this year, as the 2nd reciever to Chad Johnson, and im convinced he could contribute the same things here...

He's young too, only in his 4th or 5th season I believe.

I could be wrong, but I thought Housemenzadah was a free agent last year and was re-signed by the Bengals...if not though, he would be a great pick up

Mccants would be a nice 2nd receiver right about now.

I wouldn't expect him to get the exact same numbers here just due to the fact that we dont have a Chad Johnson. However he'd definately put up great numbers because defenses wouldn't know who to cover. We are one WR away from being a terrfic offense. Maybe 1 linemen too.

Yeah but TJ has got a little fire and attitude and he would probably expect to be the No. 1 if he goes elsewhere. I've watched a couple of Bengals games and he can get a little salty if he doesn't get touches.

To bring in a big name receiver, Gibbs and staff would have to address the passing game and the QB situation. If we were to get TJ for instance, you have to go to Campbell or Gibbs would have to abandone the run a little bit to get TJ catches. Moss has been here through the tough times and has kind of bought in to Gibbs' run first offense. But to bring in a guy like TJ who is used to catching balls from a pretty good QB and then scale him back would be asking for trouble.

I think James Thrash will turn out to be a good #2 for us. He is 6'0 205lbs. Thats enough to give us some sort of advantage and with Cooley, and Jacobs coming in for 3 man sets. I'm down with that. It will work for us.
