Even though he beat the Redskins this year, it looks like he is going to be fired this year. It looks like Al Davis and others are finally realizing what we Redskins fans have known all along, that Norv is an offensive genius but does not have the personality or the rapport with players to lead a team to play with discipline and consistency. A great coordinator, but not a great head coach. Although we could have told the whole world that, instead the Snyder-hating media and the rest of the league buried their heads in the sand and made up the myth that Norv was mistreated in Washington.

Norv has a great Offensive mind, he will catch on OC somewhere.

Exactly... Norv is a good OC... not head coach... him and capers are done. Tice will keep his job and herm will return, but herm could return with another team, but as a head coach.

Offensive guru alright... that's why their offense ranks 19th in the NFL. The run-crazy Turner has managed to put together the 29th best rushing offense in the league. :rock:

Norv Turner isn't a genius... a genius is a guy like that Norman Einstein. :wink:

... isn't the surprising thing that someone was dumb enough to give him another gig in the first place?

yeah norv wasnt even the first choice for al davis... somone else wasnt available so he went with norv and took a chance.

Norv has skills at putting an offense together but he lacks leadership skills. He understands what it takes to score in todays game but he doesnt have a clue on how to keep a lockerroom together.
plus he ran this franchise into the ground for 7 years.

Good or bad only coach to put Skins in playoffs in the last 12 years....so far.

And he got lucky putting us in the play offs. I hope Norv doesn't get fired. I really want to face him again and rule him. I freakin hate that guy!!!
