Reggie Bush

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Just like you guys thought Julius Jones was the greatest RB since Emmitt Smith and he's not even the best running back on the Cowboys.

No, Reggie Bush can actually run between tackles, not just on sweeps, tosses, off tackle or any other outside run. I guess you havent seen a USC game this season. Well you should check out the championship game.

We'll see how that carries over into the NFL. Im not downing the guy cus I dont know much about him. I dont follow collegiate ball like I should. Im assuming his body is in the BW mold? If thats true he's going to need a heck of a line to run like he's doing now.

Walter Payton 5-11 202
Reggie Bush 6-0 200

He will get bigger..the dude is only what 20 years old. He'll pack on more bulk just by virtue of getting older..but guys like him are 9 times out of 10 going to be great in the NFL...he reminds me of Marshall Faulk and LT in college...electifying like Mike Vick...anytime he touches the ball he can break it for a TD whether its a draw play, toss, screen, power play...the dude is a beast.

A lot of people make a big deal about size...Warrick Dun was great in college, and he's even better in the NFL. He's like 185 lbs...its not your size, its how you use it...and right now R Bush plays a lot faster, quicker bigger and stronger than 200 lbs. Warrick knows he's only 185-190, but have you ever seen him take a big hit?? He runs low and is so shifty that he can allude guys and go to the ground before he takes punishment, Marvin Harrison is the same way..tiniest receiver, but one of the most durable.

Walter Payton was one of the toughest guys to bring down because he was so powerful in his legs and had that ability to get low, use his leverage and leg strength to churn out yards. Physics tells us that leverage will beat size anyday..if a guy can get lower and explode he will be more successful than a big guy who tries to run you over..just my two cents.
SPIT HAPPENS!!

I live out here in Southern Cali and have been able to see all his games. THis guy is nothing short of amazing I have never seen a guy make cuts like he does before. His break away speed is second to none.

One of the ex NFL players said that Reggie Bush should only be compared to Sayers and Sanders - high praise indeed. I have never seen a football player whose talent was that far superior to the other players on the field.

Yes, he will need blocking, but, there are certain skills that some athletes possess that cannot be coached and Reggie Bush seems to have them all, and in abundance.

I think he is going to be incredible to watch. I only hope we do not have to play against him twice a year and hopefully he is in the AFC.
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

wierd thought.....Reggie Bush goes to 49ers, which I feel there is NO WAY he slips through the first three picks and if he does three teams will have messed up, anyway back to wierd thought.....

He is paired with Alex Smith in San Fran........They went to the same high school together!!!!!

By the way any haters out there he IS the best player I have ever seen and before he is done he will go down as the best football player of all time!!!!
I miss you 21.

God I wish we had a second round pick.

DUDE!

I seriously think Houston lost yesterday on purpose!!

I bet you anything Dom Capers told that Kicker to miss that FG. I mean, there is no way in America that someone can miss a FG by that much from 30 yards.

But I guess if I was the Texans, I'd want to lose too.

Bush has all of the potential to be a great NFL running back. The issue is going to be acclimating to bigger, stronger, and faster defenses and learning a pro playbook. All said and done, he should be a record breaker -- if only we could get him (for a spell-back and kick returner, that is).
"The biggest misrepresentation there is that [it's because] Dan's got a lot of money. That's not it," Gibbs said. "We've got a rule. Believe me, if we had no rules, Dan would spend some money."
