Could our offense compete with Indy's D? Yes but only when our offense is running on all cylinders.
Can our defense compete with Indy's offense? Probally not.
Could we shutdown James? Yes
Could we cover the WR's? Yes/No. Their WR depth is deeper than our CB depth. Jimoh will be abused.
Can we cover Peyton? Pass rushing would be pointless. We'd pretty much have to count on our DB's to be able to cover their WR's with no pass rush help. Thats totally unfair and unrealistic to ask of them but some of you seem to expect the impossible. Our blitzing isn't effective enough to screw with Peyton and I doubt we could afford to take too many people out of coverage.
I'll be proud of my Skins regardless.
WE ARE GOING TO WIN AGAINST THE CARDS!!!!

Chris, you make some valid points. You gave a good analysis as well as being realistic.
I agree. Can we get there? yes. Can we beat Indy? probably not. I think right now, we'd have to play better, over all, as a team.
It would be nice to find out though!

To elaborate on some of the things I said earlier today.
Their defense isn't all that from the few games I've watched. Their DB's are chumps and are given the advantage because of their hella good pass rush. Pay attention numbnuts, that is what a good pass rush will do for you. Imagine our DB's who are WAYYY better than theirs with a pass rush of that calibur! We'd be unstoppable.
Not without a pass rush. Any team needs to be able to stir up Peyton enough to make him throw a pick. We can't do that. Any 2ndary will get picked to shreds by him if he can sit back and do wut he pleases.
That is one of the things we'll be able to do well.
Our DB's could smother their WR's if we had a pass rush. Their WR's run precise routes and catch everything.
The Pats have given us the forumula to beat Peyton but we dont have that calibur defense YET!!! We need a pass rush.

The road to the number 1 pick gaining speed!
Kurt Warner probably won't finish the game. Our D played their best game on Sunday, and they are hungry. Warner doesn't have good feet, and he'll need them against the Skins. I'm betting they go to a three step drop, quick slants, etc... and when that results in turnovers and they trail in the game, 7 step drops will put Warner in jeopardy. Either by hard hits or poor performance - Warner won't finish the game.

There left tackle weighs in a svelt 366 pounds.
You'd think he'd be good enough that people could name him without looking at a depth chart.

Exactly turnovers must be a minimum and our running game must hit on all cylinders. Hopefully we can gain some momentum and get Brunell going as well. If not a good dose of Portis and Cartright will do us some good. I beleive our defense can contain the young talented duo in the arizona desert.ArizonaHOG wrote:Airzona will likely play 8-9 in the "box" to stop the run. Winning formula is....run the football, no turnoers, limit penalties, and keep the AZ wide receivers on the sideline. Run the darn football!!
See some of you at the game.
Hail Victory!!

on the weekly celebrity picks on the nfl network jerry o connel called redskins-cards the "who cares bowl" and picked the cardinals....
rich eisen tried to tell him the skins are 6-6 and that people are still having hopes for them and that theyre not a bad team but he still picked the cards... so in other words jerry o connel stop spending time making picks against the redskins and go get a career
