Dieselfan is moving to Ashburn

Post by DieselFan »

Ok...so, I accepted a job in Lansdowne and am moving to Ashburn. I've decided to rent for a year or so before buying into a somewhat unsettling housing market right now..

Anyway...who lives in Ashburn...anyone? Do you like it? Also, If you go to church in the area, where do you go? Hit me w/some insight on the area. My wife's family is from Reston...so I know the area OK...but Loudoun I don't know that well. One thing is for certain...I'll have absolutely no excuses for missing training camp in '06.

Congrats. I've heard good things about McLean Bible Church, and I've listened to some of their pastor's teachings on the radio on Sunday mornings, which I've certainly enjoyed. It might be worth a look, though I'm not sure how far a commute it'd be from Ashburn. My 2 cents

20-45 minutes depending on traffic.

Word of advice: arrive early, and enjoy the tailgate. A LOT of worshippers go there on Sundays, so, yeah, traffic and parking might be an issue.

Thanks Redeemed...we've attended Reston Bible Church when we've visited (the in-laws) on the weekends and that's the kind of church we're looking for -- but I don't want to just assume we'll be going there w/o checking out all the options.
