Hmm... Eric Moulds

It seems as if Eric Moulds is having a rouhg time under Mike Malarky, and that gives me an idea!

According to the link, Moulds is going to be inactive so, since the the Bills desperately need a QB, and we need a big WR...

We could trade the Bills Patrick and maybe a draft pick for Moulds (6-2) and he would give us the height we've been needing.

Just a though...

Mularkey is losing this team after the second year, I live about 30 minutes from the stadium, and the reports coming out of their are crazy, They say with all the losman stuff they could of ruined him, Their back up running back was on the field for more plays on sunday, mould is calling out the plays, and Sam Adams left the stadium Nov 27 1 hour before kickoff and didin;t come back, because they took him out of the starting lineup, because they wanted to try something, Adams is their best run stopper and Carolina ran just fine against them. I can Say one thing, The skins are in much better shape than the bills despite everything going against us right now.

You're right. No trading past the deadline, only signing cut players.

The ability to make this trade aside, given the cap situation, it wouldn't make any sense to take on a potentially expensive wideout and lose a draft pick. Patrick's value lies in the fact that he can bring the Redskins draft picks, not cost them picks.

Moulds is getting up there in his age for a reciever in this league however he still could help for a few years. We would just have to watch our overspending habit.

Nope, but I was just think over the offseason we could do it. It's pretty obvious Losman sucks and if Moulds won't even play for them, they should be giving him away.

And I know Patrick makes a solid backup righ now, but next year, JC will be in his second year and might even start according to Brunells play. I'm very sad abou this, but it's true, I think Patricks days a playing are done.

Have you not noticed that we LIKE drama in DC?

True, we won't sign as many high-priced free agents as we once did, but we sure like to make it difficult for ourselves.

Draft picks smaf-picks! The only reason we need to keep MAYBE one is to provide an excse for Snyder to throw his awesome Draft Day party every year.

Listen, first, yes we cups enjoy a good cigar and yes the smoke comes out of the straw, you can't inhale that stuff. Secondly, the Gloveomaatic 5000 is a high-tech weapons system that comes equipped with the latest in hi-def TV and surround sound and a special massage setting for the ladies. They most certainly are not flippers!

I agree with CLL and Fios. I want to get excited about the WHOLE draft for once...not just the first round. There are lots of players ripe for the picking 2-7...it just seems we have traded those for players whom usually don't pan out. Smart drafting = Young, cheap talent, that can provide continuity. It wouldn't hurt my feelings any to see any of our non-hackers sent away for picks (so long as their cap hit doesn't destroy us.)

John Clayton went on sportscenter saying that he believes Moulds will be cut in the off-season. Since we do not have a very good WR behind Santana, do you think we would take a shot at him?

Absolutely...he would be a good fit for us. He's big productive, not a big mouth, good hands and he's played for Greg Williams before, I think we will land him or at least we should.

I haven't heard much from/of him which seems like a good thing. I dont think he'd tried to break the bank of we brought him here either....

Who knows.

Now that I think of it I think someone like him would be a great fit. We dont need a superstar. That was the down fall of previous coaches, they felt like we had to sign the best of the best at every position and the chemistry wasn't there and now we're in cap hell. Lets sign someone who is what we need physically/mentally and let him do his thing. If he's the correct fit for this offense then he'll play just as well as a "superstar" would.

Probably, he's in the waning period of his career. He's 32 years old and will likely sign a 3 or 4 year deal that should be within our price range.

If we could land him and say Joe Jerevicious and have those guys as our top 3 recivers, we would be in business.

He got a pretty big contract didn't he?
I also think he would be a great fit, but he may be too expensive.

Trust me they don't need a QB, they love Losman, he is struggling but most new qb on garbage teams do struggle. they need a coach and a Gm above anything else, oh yeah and an o-line wouldn't hurt either.

Financially, I think Moulds would be do-able. It seems to me, from everything that I've heard, that Moulds' problem isn't the money, it's frustration over losing week after week, which makes sense to me. It also sounds like he's the kind of competitor that we could use, and his size certainly wouldn't hurt.
