FF Playoffs...

Post by skinz74 »

Need some help with the lineup...first year playing and I've made the playoffs with a #3 seed. Here's the squad...let me know your starters...Keep in mind, we have to have 2qbs, 2rbs, 2wr, 1 te, 1 w/t(wr or te, doesn't matter) 1 kicker, and 2 defenses. I only have 1 kicker and 2 defenses, so that's a gimme. But I have some good talent on the bench and could use some input...

QBs -- Brunell, B. Johnson, K Orton
RBs -- Portis, S Jackson, T Bell, M Anderson
WRs -- S Moss, Roy Willams, T Glenn, A Toomer, B Lloyd
TEs -- C Cooley, H Miller

My kicker is Vanderjagt and my defenses are Wash and Green Bay...

Any help is appreciated

As for QBs:

Brunell is a risk and hasn't put up as good numbers since the start of the season. However, he will probably do well in the upcoming weeks as the Skins make their run (or so we hope).

B. Johnson has been putting up pretty decent numbers in leading the Vikings back on track.

While K Orton is winning with the Bears, he isn't producing.

B. Johnson has one fewer touchdown than Orton and far less INTs with much less playing time. I'd also take Brunell over Orton. This was probably your easiest decision.

QBs- not Orton
RBs- not Jackson(unless playing Cards or 9ers)
not Bell(Anderson is still getting most
of the carries right?)
WRs- not Williams or Glenn(not very consistent)
TEs- Go with Coooolllllleeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyy

QBs - Brunell and Johnson. Brunell is playing Arizona this week and should have a big game. Johnson has been one of the most consistent QBs in recent weeks.

RB - Portis and Bell. Portis will have a big game at Arizona. Bell...well....he's just damn good.

WR - Moss (same reasoning) and Glenn. I think Bledsoe/Glenn will come alive as the Cowboys start fighting for their lives.

TE - Cooley. He's in Arizona so you gotta play him. I'd also play Miller as your WR/TE combo guy.

Made it through the first round of the playoffs. Next week probably won't be so easy...

Thanks to everyone who provided some insight. I won't be upset from here on out if I lose...just wanted a good showing my first try.

I just took down the #3 seed in my FF playoff big upset. This time year play players that are fighting for their playoff lives and some second stringer that are looking to impress. I won with guys like Gurrard, Moats, and K.Curtis
