Uniforms
So who liked the white on white last sunday? I for one loved it! A guy called into the Joe Gibbs show yesterday on 980 and complimented Coach on the uniforms worn... Coach was happy someone mentioned it, he said he was waiting for someone to bring it up. I think Coach then said it was Portis and Arrington to asked for the white on white....
Were any of you lik'n it?
I'd like to see it again and maybe a burgnady on burgandy maybe...or even get some more gold in our uniforms...

Well, what do you expect? We were playing in a dome!
I personally wasn't too keen with the white on white. But if that's what it takes to winning games, lets keep it going!
I'd rather see burgandy on burgandy
"I was on the sideline and guys were talking about the score, and then it hit me -- we won by 21. I came in the locker room and I yelled it out, and immediately I just kind of broke down in tears. Because I miss Sean, you know."

The interesting thing about Joe's comments re: the uniforms was that he said they asked about going with "single colors" to get a lift. Now, I may be reaching here, but his not explicitly saying "all-whites" leaves a glimmer of hope that they will rock the all-burgundy uni before season's end.
Imagine that, if we're playing the Gints at home, and the team rolls out in its colors...
I think it'd be pandemonium in the stadium!!!!
Anywho, whatever gives them a lift and elevates them to a win, is all good with me.

I loved it, but if I had my preference we'd change uniforms altogether. I like the throwback, 75th anniversary uniforms myself. If we went to them fulltime, we'd have to have a white jersey with gold pants for wearing at home, but that'd be cool.

Agreed
As far as the white on white uniforms, that combo will always remind me of the ole ball coach and weeks 1 and 2 of his second season as head coach. so no I hate them.

Whatever uniform our leader players suggest and Joe accepts is FINE by me. Why?
Because the TEAM is acquiring its own new identity. If it takes white on white or burgundy on burgundy, bring it on. Whatever motivates my players to play stronger.
Hail!

Hard to imagine Lavar as "gay" or 'sweet" in any color NFL garb. That guy is just not "gay"!

Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

This was directed at Skins Lavar who said earlier in this thread and in another thread that the unis looked "gay"...if you don't know what you're talking about...shutting up is always an alternative.

I love white on white, but I woul like to see the burgandy on bugandy as well. I am kind of sick of the 70th anniversary uni's. I would like to see the "feather helmet" with the USC looking uni that Sonny and Charley used to wear.
