They can only run the plays that are called. Unfortunately.

I'm really disapointed in us right now. We should be dominating them offensively. Alex Barron is out and their QB is a rookie. We need to keep the pressure on and stop giving their receivers so much room.

MAN coverage! MAN!

Hall has disappointed me a lot today, too.

Gibbs is gonna lose this team soon. How can players continue to believe when he doesnt give them a chance to make plays. Looks like he doesnt believe. Marvin Lewis had a big win today. Funny.

I was thinking the same thing. It's only a matter of time before guys like Moss start wanting out. We all crucified Coles for being a malcontent last season, but with the way that this offense is run I can't blame him.

We have 169 rushing yards averaging over 9 yards a carry and are only up be 3. I think that is why people are upset and the paranoia of knowing what can happen in the 4th quarter again is the reason for the mood.

A little off topic, but I heard today Russ Grimm is the lead candidate for the Lions Job.

MAN coverage! MAN!

We've played man a few times but Springs got turned around by Holt on those occasions. Don't think that he can cover him one on one.

Come on man, get serious. We have had leads the last several weeks only to lose them in the end. The Rams defense is ranked 29 in the league and we can't score more than 10 points in the half? The play calling is horrendous. How many shots downfield did we take in the first half???

I agree. I know how frustrated I am. I can't imagine how Coles felt. We are starting to see Moss' frustrations with that stupid penalty.

I dont know about you guys but Im afraid that players are starting to lose faith in this coaching staff, Gibbs included. I full heartedly believe Gibbs can win in toays NFL but some of his ideals must change and I think he's being a bit too stubborn. I see our most glaring problem being....

We dont score when we have the chances and when we need to score we dont have the weapons. If we'd simply score every chance we got maybe we wouldn't NEED to score as much.

Hey - I'm feeling the same doom and gloom as everybody else. I'm with you guys I really am! Now, I'm off for that lie down, and then I may cry myself to sleep after listening to those last two minutes...

Pre Game stat some of you may have not heard, unless you were listening on radio. Skins are 2 - 6 when they win the coin toss. 3 -0 when we lose the coin toss. We won the coin toss to start this game.

Well yeah, but I mean he had Moss wide open when he was running to the left and Mark over threw him, blowing an easy 25 yards.

And then he had Jacobs WIDE OPEN and threw it out of bounds.

we need to keep a running list of bonehead plays

Post by old-timer »

so far I've got two for today

- Sean Taylor facemask on 4th down, followed by touchdown

- John Hall kicks off out of bounds at the 18; has the ball gotten harder to kick in recent years? What happened to the kickers who got it into the end zone, even occasionally?
