........and deservedly so. Does he have a clue as to how much an idiot he looks like after rushing for 9 yards against the Giants?
I wonder how the real players on this team (the ones that don't try to appease the media and fan dullards and constantly seeking attention from the drunk tailgaters)feel about seeing this joke while they are playing hard-- such as Sean Taylor and Santana Moss.
Portis is a horrible joke this season.
I bet Santana and Taylor are laughing right along with anyone who isn't so uptight. I think it's great. Portis is they type of guy you need on a team. He is unselfish and a character. Alot better than have negative downers like Gardner and Coles. Anyone who thinks Portis should stop is crazy. I absolutely love it. Especially after this week. Yesterday, after seeing his newest getup, was the first time I could even stand thinking about the damn team. He reminded me why I really love the team we have finally put together. They are having fun and it will show when they bounce back against Philly.
.........and when Portis has 15 yards and the Redskins get blown out or even lose AT HOME against the Fecals you won't be here talking up your hero.
No wonder the Redskins don't get any credit with idiots like Portis taking away from the others having a decent season.
How'd you like that "blow out loss AT HOME"? Oh yeah and CP really stunk it up, scoring the winning touchdown and all. And by the way ALL of his team mates are quick to point out how hard he works and plays, including his coaches also. Keep Hating dude, Just dont show your face when we do well. Oh yeah, thats right... you dont.
P.S. I think you need to go pick up so Leather Balls playa.
To tell you the truth, I think CP's multiple personalites are kind of getting old. It was pretty funny before but now....it's just kind of corny.
I guess its good to have someone on the team that'll joke around though.....
"I was on the sideline and guys were talking about the score, and then it hit me -- we won by 21. I came in the locker room and I yelled it out, and immediately I just kind of broke down in tears. Because I miss Sean, you know."
I'm with you hatsoff - not as funny anymore - kinda running it in the ground. This is time to get serious about our push for the playoffs, would like him to reflect that a little more.
And I am a fan his, just think he has played this out.

I hope he shows up this week as a tough running back who carries the ball 25+ times and controls the clock/game, wearing burgandy & gold, of course. We have to win this game!
he's just trying to keep the mood light--the NFL needs more people like clinton portis IMO, he's got that flair where he's not too cocky and he is a team player. as long as he doenst get out of line, who cares what he does--especially when dressing up for an interview. he's just a little cooky, that's all
Sean, may you always rest in peace and look down on us with the same love that we look up to you.
CP continues to be hillarious week after week. The only people who disagree are the dull redskins "fans" who have become comfortable griping and moaning about the skins so long they still havent recognized the great TALENT and ENTERTAINMENT value of CP on and off the field. Those people prolly want that visor-wearing pansy Spurrier back also...
Braves on the warpath! FIGHT FOR OLD D.C.!!!!!!!!!!
its insignificant either way, its a pretty funny thing usually, i just get a kick out of seein him week in week out to see what story he will tell, but this really has nothing to do with on the field, i dont care if cp rushes for 10 yards and no touchdowns i just want W's
I love it. In a world where professional athletes always have on their "game faces", ten or fifteen minutes of humor like this ain't hurtin' nothin'. As long as he is not running around in practice in that character and he's taking care of his business in practice and on Sundays, it doesn't matter.
I think that more athletes should show a lighter side to themselves. It can be done without losing focus on the task at hand.

Portis said he has received mostly positive feedback from teammates and fans, including "grandparents looking forward to it" each week. And he had harsh words for two of his critics, Lincoln Kennedy and Rod Woodson of NFL Network.
"Those guys, I'm not doing it for them," he said. "If they don't like what I do or if they're not happy with what I do, if they can't take it as a joke – which it is – it doesn't mean anything to me. There's no question of my sexuality. If they don't believe me, all they have to do is bring their wives forward and they can tell them what a man I am."
Let us all gather around and drink the ey-Aid of the Redskins.
