Giants in sole possession of first place

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Giants in sole possession of first place

Post by elchalje »

in the NFC East. Thanx to Ron Dayne, a TD run and a 57 yard run for Denver to set up the winning FG, Denver beats Dallas 24-21 today. As of this moment, Giants at 7-3 and Dallas at 7-4. Giants can put a choke hold on the NFC East Title with a win at Seattle on Sunday--no easy task, but not impossible.
Meanwhile, Danny Boy faces the probable situation of having to swallow his second loss in a row to a fired Washington coach. First, Norv. Now, Marty. Make no mistake, Marty is bringing one helluva of a football team to DC on Sunday.

We were in first place for a while too. I know, I know. It's nice.

It never lasts for long. Winter is coming.
