Micheal Smith on Around the Horn

Post by skinsdeep »

They had a discussion about the Cowboys that lead to the NFC East and everyone was jarring about Philly sucking, The Cowpukes Luck, and the Giants fluke loss, but out of nowhere Micheal Smith just gets this angered look and says, "NOW GUYS LISTEN, Dont you remember that there's four teams in that division, I think the Redskins unlike all the other teams have all aspects of being a team down, a Runner in CP, a comeback player of the year in Brunell, a playmaker in Moss, and a Defense to boot." Everyone just shut up after that and it was on to the commercial break....Go Smith, love you dude!

I saw that, it was great. Specifically, he said Moss was the most explosive player in the division.

Smith is a bad dude... On top of that, Sterling Sharp said again this week that, "even though his production has slowed down, Santana Moss is the best receiver in football." He said he was better than Steve Smith, basing his opinion on the fact that Moss faces far more double teams than Smith, because Carolina's Kolbert is equally as capable in getting open down the field.

Looking at ESPNs rankings. The Skins have played right with the 2nd ranked team in a last second loss. In addition they have beaten the 5th and 7th ranked teams.

Pretty simple math. Stop turning the ball over = Make the playoffs.

Santana Moss is only 3 yards behind Steve Smith for the receiving lead in the NFL....and if it wasn't for Steve Smith's 200 yd game a couple weeks ago, Moss would be leading by about 150 yds.....

Awesome, I do like Michael Smith, he is a good guy and well spoken. Now I can't stand the other dude, Steven A. Smith. What a a-hole.

Both are cool with me.
But Redskins must find a way to finish teams off! (like going for the juggla). Sometimes I dont understand the play calling...like running a more effecient play on 3rd and 2 on the last drive!

I don't see how beating up a street performer is gonna help us win. :hmm:

Perhaps it's a high school spirit thing. I don't know.

Is the guy in the photo doing an impersonation of Robert Royal?

:) Well, I can definitely remember Royal dropping a few. But I can't really remember hearing Patten's name all season.

Greetings from NYC: To bad Santanna could not play against Fred Smoot in Minnesota also. He could have had 300 yards! :D

Quite right! Any one knows that the only way to guarantee a win is to sacrifice a mime. Killing a juggler just destroys the turnover ratio.

what im wondering is--what did tony reali and the producers say to michael smith, and how much he's going to get fined by ESPN for making a GOOD comment about the Skins?????
Sean, may you always rest in peace and look down on us with the same love that we look up to you.
