Spurrier Vs. Florida!

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Spurrier Vs. Florida!

Post by gay4pacman »

Heading to tailgate now and wanted to let all of the "spurrier hatres" out there know that there is some serious optimism in the air here in columbia. We have a chance to turn a entire program around....

Go Cocks!

Urban Mayer has a lot of pressure and its going to be loud in Columbia.

Wish the old ball coach luck and Go Gamecocks!!

Wish I knew about you when I was doing my prosecutorial thing. I've been to Game Cock country many times because the National Advocacy Center (a facility that trains prosecutors nationwide) is located right on your campus.

Assuming, of course, that the Head Coach doesn't quit on the team and phone in his resignation from the 15th fairway at Pine Hills.
Sit back and watch the Redskins.

SOMETHING MAGICAL IS ABOUT TO BEGIN!

Big win for Spuirrer. I like how the whole week he played a really low key saying this was just another game, and even after the game said it was a team effort. Just acting like it's another day at the office.

If Georgia loses I think he has a shot at the SEC championship. Not bad for the mans first year. All his tough confrence games were really close this year. I'm happy for him
Chris Cooley is this years Antonio Gates! THE X-FACTOR!

Believe me I am not a huge spurrier fan but he has really done more for this sc program than anybody (lou holtz including) has ever done. He has really met expectations in columbia. Spurrier did hurt the redskins but he is helping my gamecocks.....maybe to a gator bowl....go cocks and skins

Spurrier is definetly the sec coach of the year. Our talent is so much worse than nd's but weis will probably get it especially if they win out. Spurrier deserves it . Sc has five conference wins n a row for the first time ever!!

Spurrier's catch phrase was "Sunshine Follows the Gators" when he was at UF. What's his line now? Anyone know?

I guess it's possible to win in college football as a head coach going on 7-hour workdays in between golf and by funning and gunning your way all over the place.

Not in the NFL, though.

Good luck to Spurrier, I suppose. . .at least you've got a place in this world.

A friend of mine and I at one point before the Arkansas-South Carolina game were yelling at Spurrier about being a Redskins fan or not. DOn't think he heard of.

Only attention we really got was the mascot staring at us. lol. I was there real early.

Spurrier is one of the best college football coaches ever. That canno not be denied...he had two bad seasons with the skins and five times more successful college years. Hes the man and is doing a great job in Columbia!!!

Watch out on Saturday....Clemson tigers are coming to COLUMBIA to play the Gamecocks at 6 or 7 on espn2. Everyone can check out one of the best college football rivalries in the nation. It is going to be a great game ----84000 people rocking wiliams brice stadium! Spuriier is back to his old tricks and you can see
