Were any THNers at the game? How'd it go? The place sounded like it was extremely loud. No doubt, it was a tough place to play. Despite the L, I wanted to know how your game experience was. I narrowly missed an opportunity to be there in person, and I want to know what I missed. Any input is fine. Good job repping the Skins at the game!
BTW- What were the fans chanting??? They did it on several ocassions during the 2nd half, but it didn't come throuhg on MY tv. A little help? Thanks.

It sounded like they were saying "Bay Tampa."

I was there. It was VERY loud, especially at the end when they got the 2 point conversion. The chant you heard involved one side of the stadium yelling "Tampa" followed by the other side yelling "Bay." They've done that for years there. I don't know if you could tell from TV, but there were alot of Skins fans there. I met a bunch of Skins fans from all over the East Coast. The person that scanned my ticket at the gate asked if I was a real Skins fan, and of course I said I've been one all my life. She replied with a smile: "Hail to the Redskins!" That was cool. The Bucs fans were actually very nice. They weren't rude or obnoxious, they just cheered hard for their team. It was all in all very exciting; I just wish we could have gotten the win.

Great recap! I'm glad you had a good time. I did notice that there were a lot of cheers whenever the Skins made some big plays, but I thought "it's too good to be true". Big ups to the person at the gate.
