Just wanted to give a quick Thanks to all of the other Great American Service Members/Vets on the board.

I am lucky enough to be home for this one. I will enjoy it to the fullest.

Those who cannot be home....stay safe and come home soon!

My family and I planted...count 'em...117 1 gallon Alberta Spruces at a local cemetary today next to the markers for vets.
We were three short, and that'll get done tomorrow.
Thank a vet every chance you get, not just on 11 November.

I think it's "hooah!" and "hoorah!" for Army and Marines, respectively.

And a large "thanks" to all. Nobody joins to get rich. They all join, to some degree, to protect us, to "protect and defend the Constitution of the United States" that was created by "We, the People". A most honorable thing.

Hi Niki,

My son, Redskin Dan Version 1978 explained the many meanings of "hooah", which all depend on how you say it, hooah?

Is Joe Gibbs the greatest living football coach? Hooah!!!!!

Wasn't that Dallas game incredible? Hoooo-ahhhh (= approximately, "oh, wow!").

More, with more inflections, if you google around.
