Smoot Breaks Collarbone

Talk about the AFC, NFC, the NFL Draft, College Football... anything football that has no Washington Football Team relevance.

Smoot Breaks Collarbone

Post by The Hogster »

The curse of the Danbino continues. Look at the bad luck that has befuddled the New York Jets, and Minnessota Vikings.

Pierce is the only Ex-Skin doing anything. Garnder actually started for us last year and was unhappy. Now he's the 6th wideout in Carolina.
SPIT HAPPENS!!

Whose collarbone did he break, and have he authorites been notified? More importantly, will this affect him while sailing?

He should have stayed here. He'd be on a winning team, I'd have my old avatar but noooooo he had to listen to Chumpy.

He was having a horrendous year, it was a good thing for him. Man coverage was always his question and he still hasn't solved it. Good move by the skins even though I liked the guy.

Steve Smith just absolutely destroyed him when Carolina played the Vikes. The thing that gets me is that it wasn't THAT much more money the Vikes were going to pay him. We could've sure used him this year considering how thin we are at DB.
Have no fear, Moss will make it happen.

The dollars were very close but the two contracts were structured very different. Freddy will get most of his money early in the contract he signed with Minny than what he would have gotten if he had re-signed with us. Considering the type of headlines he is now making he better get all that he can as fast as he can.

Every time I watch the team go out, I find myself missing Fred Smoot's heart and soul. He played every down as if it were his last, and I wish him nothing but the best out there.
Having said that, this injury will cost us, even as a Viking. Who will cover Burress this week ? Nobody, and that makes the Giants 7-2.
Sad, but true. Smoot has cost us a game if we don't beat the Bucs.
When he was a Redskin, he'd've played with that broken collar bone and called it a "sprain".
"Sit back and watch the Redskins.
SOMETHING MAGICAL IS ABOUT TO BEGIN!"

But not when you got most of your money up front and have a long term deal
Now he'll spend time in the training room and take weekend cruises

No worries. Credit Sharper and Manning for filling in nicely for Smooooooooooooot. Too bad we couldn't capitalize on the Giants' loss.
