Don't sleep on Vinny, he made that Crayton guy look like a world beater against us last December. I doubt his arm has dropped off so much since then.
Laveraneus might actually produce better with a seasoned vet throwin' to him. Oh wait....didn't we see that fail last year??

Back and better than ever!

Yes Laveraneus will struggle this year because he isnt over his toe injury. He must be furious watching us pull out all of these wins....haha Jets are in trouble im suprised they didnt pick up Jeff George!
I know this guy named Jimmy, he has a pet....POSTERNUTBAG! Thats his cats name, POSTERNUTBAG!!!

Vinny's also got a <.500 win count in the past 3 years. The guy's about as mobile as a 4-ton boulder. And given the fact that he's got less than two weeks to learn a new offense -- he'll be a dud and the Jets'll be looking to call Matt Leinhart's name at the draft.
"The biggest misrepresentation there is that [it's because] Dan's got a lot of money. That's not it," Gibbs said. "We've got a rule. Believe me, if we had no rules, Dan would spend some money."

11 of Moss's 14 catches have been to convert on third or fourth downs.
We had 9 30+yd receptions last year, Moss already has five.
Coles scored one TD last year, Moss already has two.
Moss is averaging 22.8 yds/catch, 4th best in the NFL, Coles is averaging less than half that at 10.4.
Moss is 3rd in yds/game with 114 and despite the fact that he has played a game less than most other recievers he is still 12th in total yards!
The comparison isn't even fair, Moss blows Coles out of the water.

Hey, Coles is not a bad reciever. You can't say he was a disappointment....last year he was the ONLY offense we had. Gardner did nothing. Nor Jacobs. McCants wouldn't play teams, so he never got a chance to play. But Moss has better speed, and for now, he seems to be the man. Apparently all of those who thought this trade was a mistake (many said so) were wrong, and Gibbs was right. Surprise surprise.
Too bad we can't have Coles and Moss on the field for us......that would have been a great combo....Moss the deep threat, and Coles the possession reciever that Patten is supposed to be. So far, not much happening with Patten, but time will tell.

It is called "Devine Intervention" Things happen for a reason folks...and Karma, "What comes around, goes around"! All the guys that wanted to leave or left the Redskins are not doing well at all right now. Example 1.) L. Coles has to watch Santana Moss make headlines after headlines about how he is burning up the NFL with his clutch catches and dynamic speed...as for Whining-Bad Toe Coles, he has been reduced to a once catch per game receiver. 2.)My buddy Rod Gardner has been reduced to being a "Fourth or Fifth String" Receiver, after being a starter for the past 4 seasons. 3.) Fred Smoot, is getting ate up, as expected, in his new digs in Minnesota, not to mention his teams 1-4 demise! 4.) Champ Bailey, still regarded a very good corner, has still been "Burnt Toast" for most of his year out in Denver and he is not the once feared corner that he was in DC. Teams actually go after Champ due to his propensity to get beat and what about the embarrassing "Blow-Up" block dished out on Champ during last year's play-off disaster against the Colts...KARMA
5.) Antonio Pierce, the jury is still out...he has not been significant in the Giants success to date...seems to me, he is not used the way, he was here...Sounds as if he is lost in NY.
But that concludes my point, things happen to the Redskins for a reason...If Steve Spurrier did not have that awful year that he did, he would have never quit...therefore we would have not had Joe Gibbs back. If we did not go 5-11 that year or maybe won one more game, we would never had the chance or drafting Sean Taylor...So 'Skins fan alike...we are a great team and franchise that sometimes have to go through things just to acheive our greatness...just like in real life situations!!!
We have an incredible team with Portis, I love the fact we have Shawn Springs! He fits this team waaaay better than Champ ever did...Shawn is a playmaker...Bailey averaged maybe 2 int. per season with us...not good! So far Lemar Marshall is playing great in the middle and Carlos Rogers is going to be very special for the Burg and Gold...just wait and see...It is time for us to re-gain our "Championship" ways...Go Skins!!!

I wish wish wish we had both Moss and Coles. Coles was such a tough reciever and had no fear of going across the middle. I have not seen many over the middle receptions this year, but I'm not complaining about that. Not to mention his blazing speed! He's no Moss, but he's still very fast.
Speaking of Moss, if I remember correctly, didn't Danny want Moss over Gardner in that draft?? Way to go big guy!!

Have no fear, Moss will make it happen.

I think that is unfair to Little-Toe Coles (*). I think he's averaging about five or six catches per game, at about four yards per catch.
Maybe even five yards per catch.
* Why "Little-Toe"? Because there is, and always will be, Lou "The Toe" Groza, OT and PK for the Cleveland Browns from 1950 - 1967, Hall of Fame 1974, played on one AAFC champion and three NFL championship teams; played in one AAFC and five more NFL championship games.

Laveranues Coles Watch: Coles demanded to be traded from Washington because, inexcusably, the Redskins offense was not designed solely for the purpose of getting Coles his stats. So far this season at his new home in Jersey/B, Coles has 449 yards receiving and two touchdowns; his replacement at Washington, Santana Moss, has 856 yards receiving and five touchdowns.
Random Thought:
Compare coles to our TE
ey.
ey: 35 Receptions 403 Yards 2 Touchdowns.
coles: 41 Receptions 449 yards 2 Touchdowns.
Just thought it was amusing.
And who was it a few months ago that said
ey wouldnt get more yards than he did his rookie year?

The same people who claimed that making Brunell the starting QB signaled the end of our season. I remember someone saying that
