Kornheiser column
In today's Kornheiser column in the WashPost, he suggested tht Terrell Owens can land with the Skins if all it takes is money.
Question is, do we (as fans) even want his toxicity in the locker room. Unquestionably, the team has great chemistry as it stands.

Yeah I read that... You notice how his attitude changes from week to week? I hate him soooo much. He doesnt know what he's talking about, Coach Gibbs runs this team now, Snyder has taken a different approach and is not gonna just go get a player like TO.
Don't matter where you are.... YOU'RE IN REDSKINS COUNTRY!

NO!

If men can run the world, why can't they stop wearing neckties? How intelligent is it to start the day by tying a little noose around your neck?

Vinnie also went on to say that Mark Brunnell was exactly right at the post game press conference in saying that Terrell Owens does NOT fit with this organization. This is Kornheiser trying to put a local spin on a national story that's already received too much damned coverage in my opinion.

Tony Kornheiser's article's are also written in a sarcastic tone or to play the Devil's Advocate.
...and, no I don't want him and we wouldn't take him. Perhaps if it was the year 2000, we'd take him but not in 2005.
The opinion of 10,000 men is of no value if none of them know anything about the subject.

I think I'd PAY him to stay away from our locker room. Yes he is explosive, but he has too much excess baggage.
"I was on the sideline and guys were talking about the score, and then it hit me -- we won by 21. I came in the locker room and I yelled it out, and immediately I just kind of broke down in tears. Because I miss Sean, you know."

well said!

God bless our troops and Joe Gibbs.

Having Owens and Santana Moss as our starting WR's would create huge matchup problems for any team in the league, so on paper grabbing TO would be great for the team. The question is what if he pulls some stunts that screws out team chemistry. I'll leave this one up to Gibbs and co. If they find a way to keep TO in check it would pay huge dividends for our ballclub

Korny's an idiot. If he paid attention during the offseason he would have noticed that Gibbs got rid of Coles and Gardener just for not wanting to follow the teams’ gameplan. An if Snyder was really in control of personel discissions we would have a bunch of high priced big name players instead of quality players with a tremendous amount of heart. T.O and Gibbs (or any other coach in our division) would mix like oil and water. Don't look for him to be on any team in the NFC East.

Biases aside, this description captures the essence of T.O., IMO. On the field, in practice, and in the offseason workouts, he gives it his all. Of course, the problems arise when he feeels he's underpaid or underappreciated, but, as far as having no heart, that certainly is not T.O.
Have you seen this man's body and atheltic ability? He is a great talent. If only he could get his head straight (something Joe Gibbs is more than able to do, IMO.

Back and better than ever!

Gibbs was successful with Dexter Manley, and I believe would be the kind of coach that just might turn T.O. around. That being said, the chances of him winding up anywhere but Arizona or Houston where they need the draw are slim to none.

I keep expecting to see a certain hater come in here in tell us how we are all stupid if we don't think the Skins should pickup TO. We need a #1 receiver. Our recievers are average to bad. We didn't pick up Mike Williams(stupid stupid stupid...) so we HAVE to take TO.
lmao. There's no way Joe lets TO come in here. If the Eagles can't control him, nobody can. TO is cancer just like we all knew he was going to be with the Eagles. He almost helped them win the superbowl which is what he was brought there for. Now he's killing there team. Now he's going bye bye.
Our team, the Washington Redskins, does NOT need a superstar like TO. If he had Marvin Harrisons attitude, then heck yeah we'd take him, but he doesn't and even if he did, he'd never be available.
We don't need stars and we will still win the superbowl.

Shut up or go home
I think the only way to really shut TO is to put a clause in his contract decellarates his salary everytime he says something stupid. Oh, he won't be released and he'd still have to play he just won't get paid comensurrate to any assinine statements he makes. He'll never sign it of course, but I see no other way.
