I think the Skins should be able to win them all, look at this, Bucs (there not the same anymore without their Qb), Raiders, Chargers (that is at home) Rams and Cardinals. We should be able to go 10-3 or 9-4 at least. I think the Skins are a superior team than all these teams. What about you all.

But lets take them one game at a time.
I am not on the team, as a fan I don't have to take them one game at a time. They do, but I don't.
You're right they do and you don't.... I'll stick with them, wait five weeks and dig this thread up and say you were right.

One loss and we are the -worst- team on the face of the earth.
One win and we are the -best- team on the face of the earth.
What way is the wind blowing today?

I disagree with you saying that we are better the Chargers. They have a really good football team that has played a brutal schedule.
I do think we are better than the 4 other teams you mentioned, but three of those games are on the road where we are just 1-3.
If we could go 3-2 in those 5 games we'd be 8-5 heading into the big 3 game divisional stretch. I'm sure we would've all taken that at the beginning of the year. Anything better than 3-2 would most likely secure us a playoff berth. However, anything less than 3-2 would probably mean we'd need to sweep those last 3 games to get in.

Here's what I think:
Bucs - W
Raiders - W
Chargers - W (only because we're at home. If we were at San Diego, I'd say "L")
Rams - W
Cardinals - W
Cowboys - W
Giants - W
Eagles - L
How's that? 2nd half: 7-1. Final record: 12-4.
Yes, it's optimistic....but it is certainly within the Skins grasp! I think this team can go, at least, 10-6 here!
I will be honest that I am concerned with all of our away games. The Skins haven't shown me much on the road yet this year...so if we lose any of these, it will be either to the Bucs, Rams, Cardinals or the Eagles. Of those, I think the most likely losses are to the Eagles and maybe the Bucs (if the Bucs defense is clicking on all cylinders).

Injuries.
That is the name of the game. The teams with the least amount of serious injuries will do better. How can anybody preict injuries to all the combination of teams involved in the second half of the season.
I do not believe ANY predictions that far ahead at this time.

I think we have good chances overall down the stretch, as long as we stay healthy.
The game that sticks out at me is the San Diego game. Hopefully they will be worn out from all of their trips back and forth across the country. On the other hand they may be used to it by now.
Our run defense must show much improvement before we chalk this one up as a victory. Tomlinson is a BEAST. With that, we have to shut down Antonio Gates. Tight ends seem to give our defense trouble....see Jeremy Shockey, although we did do good against Tony Gonzalez.
Shut down Gates and minimize Tomlinson and we take home the "W".

I think that you are overlooking some vry good football teams. This is by no means and easy stretch. Tampa Bay has a rookie qb who has struggled but they also have a very tough D and good running game with Cadillac Williams. The Chargers, in case you hadn't noticed, destroyed the Patriots and have played one of the toughest schedules in the NFL. The Cardinals are a joke as usual, but the Raiders and Rams have been playing a lot better lately. Both teams have top offenses and without Mike Martz calling the plays the Rams have been running the ball a lot more recently with lots of success so we can't over look them. I think that we go 5-3 over the rest of year, beating the Bucs, Raiders, Giants, Cardinals, and Cowboys, and losing to the Chargers, Rams, and Eagles. 10-6 would be a great finish for us and would virtually gaurantee a playoff spot.

the chargers will be tough, even at home. if bulger is back, the rams willbe tough as well, at home on that fast turf. jackson is a beast.
i'd expect 3-2 minimum over that stretch, but i'll admit i have thought that we could run the table until the eagles game.

Everyone says were a bad road team, but look who we played on the road, Chiefs (which we should have won), Broncons (same thing), and the Giants. I don't think were bad on the road, just not the same at home. WE played tough teams on the road and almost won, I know besides the Giants. These teams on the road aren't nearly as tough as the Chiefs, Broncos, or Giants.

Were looking good going into tampa. SKINS can always beat down on an QB with min. experience! We should be able to go down there and keep our winning ways. As for the raiders and chargers, it's a great thing these games are at home, such an advantage, both of their head coaches coached for us and they are coming back for an unhappy return. We can take care of that no good raider defense and also shut down thier moss and show them who the real MOSS is ! Chargers will be a fight, they play very well on both sides of the ball. I'm trying to focus on one game at a time but I keep looking off to the next 3. I think it's 3-0 for us, especially if the 12th man shows up like they did this past weekend for the faiders and chargers games.
Don't matter where you are.... YOU'RE IN REDSKINS COUNTRY!

Exactly. we've beaten every inexperienced QB we've faced over the last two years and very badly I may add. Young QBs are lucky to pass for 120+ yds against our D. I expect Simms to have a VERY tough day on Sunday. My guess is 80 yds passing and 3 ints.
"We're not going to be the pushovers of the NFL, we're gonna push over some people!" - Clinton Portis
We got a big win on Sunday. Awesome. What happened after the last big win? We laid an egg in New York. It all comes down to the players--if they are mentally tough enough to ignore all the hype and the playoff talk. If they give even a little bit less of an effort than they did on Sunday night, we lose to the Bucs. We could even get shut out again. We don't play better than we did on Sunday (turnovers and penalties) we will lose. That's how hard it is to win on the road in the NFL.
Five wins in a row? Not likely. 3-2 would be a complete success.

One game. Each game has it's own challenges. In years past, we were the "they shoulda beaten those queers..."
Now, the Skins are playing football - no longer a pretender. But a lapse could turn downhill quickly - we made the Giants look like SuperBowlers, then stomped Philly.
Beat Tampa in Tampa, against a very, very good Defense. I'm already looking forward to the Giant rematch, and Dallas and Philly - hell I'm looking forward to the Playoffs!
