Tampa

Post by njskinsfan »

I know I am a little early but I wanted to start the official thread before I left for sunny Florida. I will watch the trampling of the E-gals in Tampa.

After a week in Orlando and basting in the glory of a Redskin blowout of the TO-less E-gals I will be commandeering the pirate ship with my cohorts in Raymond James as we watch Chris Simms throw 5 interceptions in another 52-10 blowout of the hapless Bucs.

Anyone got bail money if security kicks us off the ship?

Enjoy the game. I was in FL this weekend (got home in time to watch the second half), and the weather was great. My trip was made even better with the trouncing of the Eagles that the Skins gave me as a welcome home gift.

Make sure to sing the fight song after each touchdown next weekend!!!

I'll be there too, courtesy of some will-call tickets from Brian Griese (long story)... I can't wait... the defense needs "T" off and cause some havoc early on... any word on where there may be some 'Skins tailgators before the game?

Dont look past the Bucs. Their defense is top notch and can cause turnovers. They have a good running game, but if we force them out of it or take an early lead, I like our chances against Chris Simms.

The BUCS offense is so bad and their Defense gave up big plays in the secondary against a great Panthers team...I look for us to win pretty handily....I say something like: 31-17....

Does anyone know how to get ahold of the TV schedule (I remember someone posting the markets and what games are showing)?

I'm in NYC and am wondering if this game will be on Fox (second game of a doubleheader perhaps?).

I am guessing this was intended to be the national telecast game for FOX as they changed the start time to the later time for TV scheduling purposes

sometimes the local affiliates don't make up their minds what game they're going to show until later in the week, so you might want to check back.

if you can't get the game in my mom's basement, see this..

The Falls is too busy these days. Was nice the first few games though!

The link I just posted tells you which games are on in what markets, so the tv guide link is unnecessary (just mentioning because you said to check back later in the week).

The game is on Fox in NYC (which makes this the 4th game in a row that is on locally!).

Thanks again.

Just to let you all know. The Skins are early 1-1.5 point favorites vs. Tampa.

I am not completely into the lines, but as a former betting man...I will tell you that they are very accurate picking the winners. The point spread's are hit or miss.

But its encouraging that we are giving up a point on the road.

I certainly wouldn't look past the Bucs D. I agree that Simms doesn't look much like his dad, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Ratay get some playing time. I'm looking for another 7 point thriller: 24-17, Skins.

I was on the Bucs message board today and noticed that there is not one mention of the Redskins and the game on Sunday. Seems strange to me ...

I think they have looked pretty bad since their QB went down. I don't think anyone over there is excited about the next game.

Check out what their fans are saying...boy they sure are optimistic...NOT...they all think they're gonna lose. http://bbs.buccaneers.com/showthread.ph ... nextoldest

We have a huge test ahead of us and the bucs scare me... We need to get our heads straight for this battle in the nfc. Evry game is so huge and this one is one we should win and we cant afford a let down game. Simms is young but if we let up some big plays and their d shuts us down we could be in trouble. We need to be ready for this game!
