Starting to open up to Sean Taylor...

Post by Skinsfan55 »

I still like Kellen Winslow Jr. a ton, but Sean Taylor is a monster hitter and lining up next to Iffy would be great. Hopefully we can get a TE in free agency (Kliensasser, Johnson) and shore up the defense with a stud like Taylor

I feel the same way. It would be great to come away from the draft with a stud like Taylor, somebody who can make an impact right off the bat. The defense needs help!

Out of curiousity, does anybody have any ideas what happens to Matt Bowens if we draft Taylor?

I've read he's a great safety, but not the hitter than Roy Williams is.....is that true...does he have the size of Jones?

He's actually bigger than Jones and he's supposed to be a better hitter

Let me find you the article

I'm for one wouldn't be heart-broken. What is Bowen's cap # and/or implications if we cut him? Would he be too expensive of a backup?

bowen is under contract, and isn't going anywhere, if anyone goes, it would be iffy :( unfortuantly he is NOT under contract, and is a RFA. if we offer tender but could get a pick in return, he could be a goner.

You must be thinking of Roy Williams :)
Unless the NFL allows the player to put Gloves on and hit people in the face...like Roy Jones (the Boxer) ;)
