12th man protect our House

Post by SkinFan 0-16 or 16-0 »

OK guys it's that time of the week again. We're 3-0 when I've done this so it's only right that we keep this Hogs.net tradition going. This time is going to be a little different though. This game is more important than any game in recent memory.

I want everyone to think back. THink of every Eagle fan you've met in your life. (In person and online). Think of every day you've had to listen to them talk trash even though we all know that they will choke in the end anyway.

I remember last year when the troll flooded our site. I can honestly say they are the worst fanbase in the world (in any sport, Dallas included)

Now I need you to think back again. Think back to Sunday December 12th 2004. That's the day of the lat time we met. We came out them in the mouth and they were scared of the contact. T.O. ran out of bounds scared, and we all know about Todd PINKston. We played hard and the barely snuck out of fed ex because of one mistake by Ramsey.

Ever since that moment I've wanted another shot at the Eagles.

Now we finally get that chance. The chance to finally look every single Eagle fan in the eye and tell them to shut up. Last year we weren't good and they were suppose to be.

This year we closed the gap considerabley. We can win this game because of our secret weapon.

THE 12TH MAN.

We do have the best fans in the NFL and what better time to show everyone than on ESPN, national T.V. Sunday night.

We can do this but only if we go out there and do what we do best. Get loud, Get wild, and have FED EX Field Rockin.

This week you guys are said to have a little "competition" Take a look at this.

http://org-www.philadelphiaeagles.com/a ... p?id=38774

I think that video was a load of B.S. and absolutley unacceptable. Their Home away from Home? We need to go out there and show them that this is our house and we will not be disrespected that way at home.Let them know that this is not an extra home game for them. Protect our House!!!

I know I've asked before, but tonight I'm begging you. Give everything you have tommorow. Make sure everybody with you is giving everything they have. Take whatever you've done before to an entirely different level no matter what it takes.

It may be listening to that one song that really gets you hyped. It might be looking at old game tapes of the skinz. It may be getting slapped in the face like John Henderson of the Jags.

I know you guys are up to the challlenge because I know what kind of heart you have. I honestly believe every home win we have is because of you. We need you to go out there and get us another one. Make this a game they will remember as the game that Fed Ex went bananas. Make this one memorable. But most importantly do everything you can to bring back a W.

My fault. Haven't checked the Pm's in a little while. I'll make a note of that for the next one.

I for one am FIRED UP!!! I agree 100% with your post!

I have been to the past several eagles games at FedEx. This, to me, is the most intense and important game of our season. It has always been my favorite to attend.

I honestly don't see how they came come out with a win. I am looking forward to an old fashion ass whuppin'.

Believe me, I WILL REPRESENT!!!!!!!
People may not remember exactly what you did
or what you said....

~BUT~
they will ALWAYS remember how you made them feel.

We must

PROTECT

THIS

HOUSE!!

Unlike Hoss, this is the game I "hate" going to because there is green everywhere!! Last year I yelled at the top of my lungs at a group sitting nearby me in the stadium suggesting that until their team wins the Super Bowl they should just remain silent....with their collective tails between their legs.

This year, I know I'll be just as loud (if not louder) but I just hope the Redskins do the talking for me . . . and help us keep those Eagles fan silent in the stadium

Come on Redskins.......I'm counting on ya!!!

Well last year we did a darn good job of flustering the Eagles even with too many of their fans in the stadium. Remember McNabb lining up behind the Guard to take a snap right before the half?? That was priceless.

You guys need to be extra loud today to let them know who owns FedEx! ;-)

I have a chant idea for you. I mentioned the Red Rover commercial with T.O in another thread. I love the commercial because a group of guys knocks T.O on his butt. But anyway, I think you guys going to the game should start a chant "Red Rover Red Rover, T.O's season is over!" Hopefully he'll be on the sidelines and hear it! ;-)

That's awesome Jake. Yes...we will protect our house today. I'm also taking an EXTRA Blood Pressure Pill before I leave here. I know I will need it. All that green really ticks me off.

For once I want it to be the Redskins whupping it up in the parking lot after a home game with Philly.

I know someday I'm going to end up being arrested for my actions following a Redskins game.
