Darrel or Art (who's better)

You got to admit this is a tough debate. I am thinking Green. I would love to see the practices when they would go up against each other.

I'm glad we had both, but I think 1 on 1, I'd go with Green except on a Hail Mary where Monk's size could give him a slight upper hand

Lol, this will be interesting. A lot of people on this board have ill will towards Green.

I never saw Art play, Green has always been my favorite skin so Ill give my vote to Green. You should turn this into a poll.

take out the tie and only put Monk or Green. I don't want an easy way out. Make them choose.

I can't vote on this since Art was a WR and DG was a DB.

I think he's asking who would win head-to-head.

I'm going with Monk. Green was a great cover guy, but he wasn't the greatest all-around cornerback. Monk however, was a great all-around receiver.

I am a fan of both players and individuals after football. But my avatar speaks for myself. That's how I voted.

Greetings from NYC: I chose Green. However it is like asking which I rather win the Lottery or the Power ball. Both players were great. It would be sweet if they both went into the HOF together!

Yeah its tough, I went with Green because I have his jersey, but what I was really asking if you had to pick one of them when you need a reciever and a DB which one would you pick. I choose Green because of Durability and his influence on the community.

I voted for Green based on Hall of Fame credentials. At Green's position he is a first ballot Hall of Famer. While with Monk we know his story as it pertains to the Hall. Although, I think both of these guys will end up in the Hall eventually.

I went with Green, he did it at the highest level for his entire career. Even when he was like 40 he was still competing with Champ Bailey for best coverage man on the field.

:hmm: not sure if I need someone with community spirit on my team (and how do you know this before you pick him)

and then you "clarified" it with
.. what I was really asking, if you had to pick one of them, when you need a reciever and a DB, which one would you pick.

In today's NFL with the rules they have - Monk would have owned the DBs including as good a DB as Green was.
So based on this "clarification" and the rules of today, with the first pick I select the future Hall of Famer, Art Monk =D>

I think it's a great question - but that's my pick, then I would get Green on my team.
Until recently, Snyder & Allen have made a lot of really bad decisions - nobody with any sense believes this franchise will get better under their guidance
Snyder's W/L record = 45% (80-96) - Snyder/Allen = 41% (59-84-1)

Green was the fastest man in the league a number of years. And was definately one of the best corners all time. Monk was the reliable possesion receiver always there when you needed him. Get him in the Hall of Fame already those retarded voters.

OK, how many people that chose Green, actually saw Art Monk play? I'm not saying picking Green is incorrect, because it's an opinion and opinions can't be wrong. I'm just curious.
