The REAL reason we won yesterday

Post by REDEEMEDSKIN »

Some might say it was the O-line protecting the QB and opening gaping holes for Portis and Betts.

Others might say it was the defense, particularly Lavar playing well in his return from the doghouse.

Still others might pin it on the coaches' ability to, pardon the phrase, "coach 'em up" and keep them motivated after two straight losses.

And the naysayers might go as far as to say, "hey, it was only the 49ers".

But, I know the truth.

Yesterday, at around 5:30 PM ET at FEDEX field, at the THN post-game tailgate.

The 52-point phenomena was only a precursor to the ultimate even yesterday, the moment that "good" and "evil" met at lot marker "A75".

Indeed, friends, this was the scene yesterday:

I met Evil Hog in the parking lot at FedEx yesterday, and, no, not for the butt-kicking that was promised during the offseason.

It was a pleasure to meet both he and Amy, and to partake of the leftovers from the THN tailgate.

Hellhog is certainly more beautiful in person.

I had a great time, despite my late arrival. I heard Skinschic and Jake, Punu, DEHog and JansenFan were there. I truly wish that I'd had made it earlier to the game to have met you all, but, I misjudged exactly how long it would take me to get to FedEx.

Oh well, maybe next time. For sure, I'll be there on Christmas Eve, and if Punu happens to find some tickets, I'll make it sometime before then. Anywho, I encourage anybody who reads this to make it out to the tailgate.

Who knows? Now that "The Redeemed One" and "Evil Hog" have shared an embrace, 40+ point drubbings will become an everyday affair at FEDEX. He he.

Blessings to all,

- REDEEMEDSKIN O:)

Isn't it amazing what a 52 point game by the Skins will do?

I think it was the lesson about the grass and the Bible that triggered all this good will. I am OK with that.

Glad to know you all had a good time. I camped (beers, food and great company) in front of our new 32" HDTV and finally purchased NFL ticket a few weeks ago not to miss ANY of our games when I am around the house.

We sang Hail to the Redskins, What? At least seven times yesterday. HDTV movies look great too. It is going to be difficult to fight the addiction.

 No witnesses....

were allowed to live.

BTW - I just got my tickets to the 12/24 game against the Gints. I'll definitely make it in time for the "adult-supervised" portion of the tailgate.

Looking forward to meeting more of y'all then.

I'm a lover not a fighter, Jaske. You should know that by now. O:)

:-k Hmmmm....now that I think about it...

Were you wearing a yellow Skins cap on Sunday? And by any chance were you pitching a football around in the parking lot after the game? I thought I saw someone who looked like you.

I was wearing the Skins Sideline Cap, yes. Playing football after the game? No.

I get autographs after the game. I was throwing the football around with CLL, DEHog, Jr., and JansenFan, Jr. before the Seahawks game, though.

Ah! Then there is some kid out there who's trying to steal your identity.

BTW - This autograph seeking thing.... how do you do it? What's your strategy (without revealing your secrets)? When's the best time to get them? Any words of advice for a novice? I'm really trying to land a Brunell autograph, dontcha know.
