Skinz hardest hitter

Post by SkinFan 0-16 or 16-0 »

Simple question. Who is the redskin's hardest hitter. I would make this a poll but there are too many ways this could go.

Sean Taylor and LaVar are obvious. I've seen C-Griff, Marcus Washington and Matt Bowen Lay the wood. A couple less obvious are our trio of corners. Springs, Rogers, and Harris can all hit.

So who is our hardest hitter.

I think I would go with Sean Taylor and LaVar as a reaaly close 2nd.

I saw that. How can you show your face in the locker room knowing that you got JACKED UP by a punter.

im going to stray from ST, although he is a monster no doubt, and say Matt Bowen. i remember in his frist season here, like the second day of TC he blew up Trung Canidate. he has always been a vicious hitter, and i think he is the hardest hitter on the team, but not by much...a smidge, if you will.
Sean, may you always rest in peace and look down on us with the same love that we look up to you.

Hail to the Redskins!

I stay Sean Taylor. The think that I really like about Sean is that he doesnt always go for the blow-up hit, like a certain other safety in the NFC East, he knows when to wrap-up and to lay the big hit.

I'd give Sean Taylor the nod and a honorable mention to Bowen.

There is no question that ST and Lavar are our hardest hitters. I don't care how hard Lavar has fallen off...there is no doubting that Lavar hits harder than Matt Bowen. My 2 cents C;mon..Lavar put the Ache in "Aikman".

Matt Bowen = Incognito since the end of the Bucs game in '04.

I like Taylor and Washington.

Lavar he's the only one to knock not just one but a bunch of people out of a game. I don't remember anyone else doing that. To me that would make it Lavar.

I wise man once said, "Lavar is the hardest hitter in the National Football League." No exceptions, no need for explanation, no Ray Lewis, and no Brian Urlacher. He is built like the Hulk, he ends careers, and he is my favorite. In my opinion, which I'm entitled to last time I checked, Lavar is the baddest man to deliver a blow on D. I'm glad he's a Redskin and I hope he retires as one of us.

Thats cool man, I know you're entitled to your opinion. Just like I have my opinion that he's not the hardest hitter on this team let alone the league. To each his own.

Good point on Sellers. I know he's not the hardest hitter on the team, but for a little guy, Ryan Clark isn't scared to mix it up w/ the big boys. i say carlos rogers may be have the best technique on the team. every tackle he makes seems to be textbook. as far as hardest hitter.. i'd say ST first, and lavar second.

Well since Lavar weigh more and gives his body up 100% I will say Lavar.

Taylor has made some nice tackles but I don't see many force fumbles from him.

At this point in Taylors career he still hasn't made as many devastating tackles as Lavar.

Isn't it nice to be able to have this conversation? I'd like to see Lavar work himself back into the starting lineup so that we have the to hardest hitters in the league on the field at the same time..... :D

Lavar is the fiercest hitter.
Matt Bowen is the hardest hitter.
Sean Taylor is the best hitter (both fierce and hard).

(Man, our defense is nice!!!!)

I think Carlos Rogers will start making a name for himself as a hard hitter.
