First Game Experience?
Can you all recall your first Redskins game? I can remember a little of my first one. I was 10. My dad is a Bears fan and I remember being outside the old Soldier Field, and it was freezing. I can remember the loudness of the place, the heart, passion, and love for your team was just flowing throughout the stadium. The sounds of shoulder pads, the screaming of players, the fans heckling. Amazing experience. I'd like to hear about everyone else's first game...

mine was sweet! After having watched the redskins on tv for all of my life, being a few hundred feet away from them was amazing. i remember when i first saw the inside of the stadium, i stood there for a solid five minutes just looking around, amazed at how big it was. and as of now, the redskins are undefeated every single time i have watched them in person. so we're gonna win against the raiders this year

My first game was Christmas Eve 1994 at RFK against the RamsI believe. I drove up from NC and had only t-shirts and jeans. It was frickin cold, and I'm pretty sure it was snowing by the end of the game.

my first ever redskins game came in 1984at rfk stadium when we played the st. louis cardinals with neil lomax ,otis anderson and roy green.we had joe theismann john riggins ,art monk and the coach we have now ,joe gibbs we had a big halftime lead but held on to beat the crads for the nfc east division championship. mark moseley kicked the winning field goal. i,ve been to about 4 others at rfk and one at fed ex against the panthers in 2000.
what i remember most about that game besides winning it is art monk became the all time receptions leader passing steve largent at the time before rice broke everybodys records.
the cardinals coach at the time was jim hanifan and boy did he do a great job with our oline we came onboard with us.

My first game was in 1992 against the Atlanta Falcons at RFK. I'm not sure whether it was the "Seat Cushion" game or the one before that. But I do remember booing Deion and Jerry Glanville.
You drove all the way to Los Angeles from North Carolina?
You must be talking about the Skins-Panthers X-Mas Eve game in 95. I was there, as well.
But you are right, we did play the Rams on X-Mas Eve the year before.

my first was the game against the bears this season.. i got real drunk and yelled my head off.. it was a lot louder than i expected it to be. the guy infront of me said he had season tix for the past three years and it was the loudest hes ever heard fed ex.. also there were some bears fans a few rows infront and one of them had his bears jersey haning over his shoulder.. a skins fan siting next to him took the jersey off his shoulder, wiped is butt with it and then threw it back in his face. all in all it was an awesome time

My first and only Skins game(so far) was a preseason game in 94 I think. It was against the chiefs. I was in the marching band in high school and we got to sit right behind the players and played on the field at half time. It was awesome being that close.

My first game was vs. Cowboys in 1987. Spent all the money we had to buy tickets from a scalper in the parking lot only to get to the gate and find out they were fake!!!! With no money left we got in our car and started to leave when we spotted the scalper, I jumped out of the car while it was still moving and was about to kick this guys butt something good, he said he never saw us before in his life (yeah right). He finally gave in and gave us our money back. We then parked and went to the ticket office and told the story to someone working in the booth. The lady said if we just wait until the end of the first quarter that she'd be able to sell us the no-show-will-call tickets. We waited and got lower level tickets, great seats. I wonder if that's still a policy with the Skins, to sell the no-show-will-call tickets after the first quarter has ended.
don't even
1975 against the Vikes Great game, back and forth. ChucK Forman scored to put the Vikes up the Skins scored to go ahead than Tarkenton ran for a score, than Kilmer hit Frank Grant and McDole blocked a Fred Cox field goal to win it for the Skins.

My first game was in Pittsburgh, My Son and I had some guy throw beer on us because I guess he didnt like the fact that we were dressed in our Redskins jersey and hats, Well long story short we cheered our Redskins a little too loudly i guess.. Like I said.. we got wet, But the Redskins won that game

I can't recall my first game but I went to many when I was younger. My dad has been an usher for the Redskins for the past 33yrs and used to sneak us in or pick up tickets all the time. We use to sit in the corner of RFK in those bleacher seats they had between the upper and lower deck. You would watch those puts go up and dissappear out of view and then reappear downfield. We would get to the stadium early and see the players come in and get autographs......or not depending on the player.
I should have a clearer memory of those games because I was sober at the game.

My first and only Redskins game was in 1999 vs the New York Giants at Giants Stadium. My friend picked me up late so we missed the Skins scoring the first touchdown. Once we got to the stadium it was 14-0 Skins, and when we got to our seats it was 21-0. The game did not get much better for the G-Men, and by the fourth qtr my buddy wanted to leave, but I forced him to stay and me and all the other Skins fans who were still there just kept singing "Hale to the Redskins" over and over. I think the final score was like 56-21 or something like that. I hope I can get to Fed Ex field one day...
