Question about Game Day

Post by gmanterps81 »

Hi all,

I have tix to the game on Sunday, and it's my first time at FedEx for a few years, and the first time w/o a permit. I'm trying to plan the best way to get there, and could use some advice from fellow fans. I hear cash parking is available now, but that it's $20. As for Metro, it sounds like I could get off at Landover and they have a shuttle that goes to the stadium, however, if I get off at Morgan Blvd., the web site says it's only a half-mile walk to the stadium. Has anyone taken the Morgan Blvd way to get to the game? I'm just wondering if the area is a good neighborhood, since it is a 1/2 walk. Or is the shuttle situation at Landover actually efficient? Many thanks in advance.

Welcome to the board.
People may not remember exactly what you did
or what you said....

they will ALWAYS remember how you made them feel.

The metro to morgan blvd takes you through some shady areas, but the station there is nice. The walk isnt too bad and you can see fed ex from the station. I've done it a couple times. If you go to landover you'll have to take the shuttle.

For future reference, the benefit of the shuttle is that the drop off location leaves you a stone's throw away (well, if Brunell is throwing , it , anyway,) from the THN tailgate. That alone makes it worth the $5 round trip fee.
