Will Ladell Betts play next week?

Post by skinpride1 »

I am hoping that Ladell Betts will be ready for next week at home.I have to say that Rock Cartwright scares me every time the ball is handed off to him.I can just see a fumble on the way.I think that Portis has got t be hurt(leg problem)and doesn't look like himself and could easily go out of the game.Right now I am praying that Betts will be back soon.

I hope so. I think Ladell would have played a vital role in today's game and maybe he would have been more successful in his limited carries than Rock was (cough cough, not fumbling)

I think today we all found out how much a reliable 2nd RB is. Same with the Center. I thought Raymer did great in his snaps for Rabach.

He got hurt. That fumble by Cartwright was the turnover that hurt us the most.

rabach came back though didnt he?

i would like to see nemo get some carries, see if he can pound the ball in when we're in the red zone...thats why we drafted him isnt it?

On the post-game show with Charles Mann, he said that he thought it was just a one-week injury and he'd be on the field next week vs 49ers.

What's odd about the cartwright fumble is why portis was out. It appeared that they were trying to fix clinton's helmet. If you go back and look at it, right before the carry by rock, they showed an equip. manager messing with Portis' helmet. Unreal...

The play calling IMO is very questionable. Im still driving the bandwagon, I just call it like I see it. This offense still seems a bit too conservative at times.

At the same time we can't seem to hold on to the ball anyway. Our players need to learn the freaking basics of football.
