We were trying to go 4-0 and he's sitting there looking like he's about to cry?! Man that really pissed me off. That's why Lavar is in this predicament in the first place. It's all about Lavar. Get off your butt and cheer you friggin teammates on to victory. Then work your butt off in practice, do what your told, and take your starting job back! I thought winning with the team you started with was the most important thing to you? Well, I got news for you Lavar, NOW is the time. This team is finally turning the corner. Get your act together and quit crying about how nobody loves you and about how you'll be playing somewhere else. Be a man for once in your life. It's time to grow up. These coaches can turn you into the next LT. Let them by doing everything they ask...

I agree that the field was slippery and anyone with sense in their skulls knows that on the slippery fields, the advantage goes to the offense.
However, I totally disagree with you parts of your Lavar rant. Here's why:
Lavar Arrington is not a LB. I've said this time and time again that he is not Ray Lewis, he's not Brian Urlacher, he's not Zach Thomas, he's not Dat Nguyen. He's a pass rusher, point blank. He always has been and always will be. It's like no one scouting him at Penn State figured that out. If you look at all of his highlights at Penn State and his big plays with us, they were of him in the backfield making plays, either sacking the QB, stuffing the run or making a pick in the backfield. Hey, GW and Gibbs apparently are alot smarter about football then me but you mean to tell me that you can't find a way to use this guy.
About him sulking on the sideline, I don't know about that because unless I am live at the game and can see his every move, I would be reluctant to believe what one or two camera shots of the sideline say. Also, we don't know exactly what is going on between him and the coaching staff to really say that he should or shouldn't be cheerleading on the sideline.
Let me ask this: How would you feel if you were the star sales producer for your company for the past three years and you get a new boss who brings in new sales associates and instructs them to do sales differently and you were cast aside to a point where you are getting excluded from important meetings and not given the top sales leads? You'd probably quit your job and go to another company instead of sticking around showing your new boss and associates support, right? Well, unfortunately, Lavar does not have the option to easily go to another team.
Right now, it appears to be a situation to make him look bad on the part of the Skins Organization. Humiliation. He's not even getting snaps in practice to "play is butt off." The coaches are running out of excuses as to why he is not playing. First it was the packages, then it's what Denver was doing, and now the guy isn't even playing on special teams. If the guy is not hurt and there is concern about working him back in, then put him on special teams to get him worked up. Also, from a business standpoint, how long are we going to continue to pay all of this money for a guy that ain't playing? Plus, why are we taking up a roster spot when we need Cornerbacks? If money is not an issue, then deactivate the guy, fill his spot with a corner, and move on.
I think that the defense is very good and they have proved that but I think that they can be "great" if they find a way to use Lavar to create turnover opportunities. If they don't find a way to play Lavar on defense it's not the end of the world. We will be okay. I just hope that when he is let go, that he goes to the AFC because he could come back to haunt us with another NFC team. Especially a NFC East team....
