Jets fans, we pick at Dallas but damn man, what have yall been doing in the world of football?
Then you gals come here and talk *sh$t* like your team has foundation
I ask how are the jets in a better position today????
The Jets have a foundation by making the playoffs 2 years in a row. Remember we were the victims of terrible coaching for years.
The Jets and Foreskins have alot in common.
Both teams have new owners in recent years. The difference is they are heading in different directions. The Jets owner Woody Johnson lets the football people make the football decisions. Snyder makes all the decisions. Almost like its a fantasy team. He signs big name players to big contracts. He seems to think that you can just go out and buy a title. Snyder forgot one thing, team chemestry.
On the other hand, the Jets research every player they sign. They don't simply give up draft picks to sign players. The Redskins are on a road to nowhere, especially in the NFC East which will probably be won by the Eagles.
The Jets are coming off a season where they won the division title. They are a more coheasive unit on both sides of the ball. The Jets have a better head coach too!
In January the skins will be home watching the Jets no matter what happens tomorrow night.
THE JETS WILL BEAT THE FORESKINS ON OPENING NIGHT IN A CONVINCING FASHION.
I agree the Jets could be going the way of Phili or Pittsburg, but just as easily they could be suffering a melt down. Their FO is good at picking up cheap people, but it may not be good at keeping key folks.
Without a solid Oline and a go-to WR, you might find Pennington to be a different QB. Time will tell how the Jets do, as it will with Snyder. He has made some mistakes, but he appears to be learning. Loudmouth, obnoxious and money spending owners can win in this league. Look at Eddie Debartello - he makes Snyder seem cordial, tame and nice. Jerry Jones is another example.
Eddie did great, once again, when the niners could spend the money like water and the cap wasn't in place. Once that happened, they had one last hurrah in the nineties.
His sister came in and had to clean up after him, thus the tearing apart of the team. Reminded me of what the Skins had to do in the early 90s.

This is true, Eddie was definitley of the "spend whatever to win" era. I think Snyder would fit better there as well. HOpefully we can keep a grip on the cap situation by keeping a few high priced guys and lots of cheapies.
What a bunch of BS is all this 'Snyder sucks' blah blah from jets fans. It's faggin up the message board.
Who was in the bowl in Jan? hmmmm let see. Owners AL Davis and Malcolm Glazer.
Al Davis has to be the guy who does the worst business in the NFL. Cries to the press, sues everyone, etc etc. Just because of his noble NFL history people look away.
The Glazers re-nigged on an offer to a head coach to wait to steal Gruden and now after they have won they want to sell the team and do baseball in LA. haha. That is not exactly good business.
So jets fans pipe down with all this crap. Don't be mad at us for having the most financially successful team in the league. You may say that all Snyder can do is make money but that is hogwash. You better worry a little more about finding a passing game so Martin isn't in the infirmary by week 5.
Its funny, but Jets fan dont want to talk about the past when I bring up Super B but then they always say we went to the playoffs the last 2 years WTF!!! Man, the Jets are here in DC and they are on all the Radio Stations and they are Riding Spurriers and Coles D_ck Its funny! They dont feel the sameway the fans feel.
As far as foundation is concerned the jets are like a Beginner Body builder who dont work legs = no foundation
