Portis this Sunday.
How many think that there is going to be a huge game out of Mr. Clinton Portis. Yes, he played OK in the HOF game last pre-season. But I'm anxious to see him in full time, full power, full speed this sunday. I think he wants to show that he's with a solid, respectable team, and that he can make it without a little Broncos sticker on his helmet. I expect a big game out of him. Also, do you think we're going to try and punish Champ?

I said Brunell would have a big game against that team in Texas but I was wrong. I could prove I was right but I won't.
I not making a perdiction for CP because he may wait until late in the came to find out about it.
The Offense incorparated Denvers Blocking scheme on some level this off-season. This means the D as worked against it more often then usual so that will be a benefit for us.
IMO will Champ is more the question

Got Moss???
Dont be fooled the Broncos are going to stack the box, and they are going to double Moss with champ mainly on him with a safety sliding over. I think gibbs should use portis on some screens to get brunell going, and match him up on some LBs. This will be a big game for chris cooley if he can get into the middle of the field, and that will open up things outside for portis. The broncos have some fast LBs i dont know if we can beat them outside.

Whether the Bronocs stack the box or play a prevent-D, I think we have the tools to exploit either. From what I can see, we're running a much more balanced offense -- like Gibbs of old. Additionally, the key factor will be posession. If we can hold them to a 2-1 ratio, we've got the game.
I see 4-0 in our future, but it'll be a grind it out game.

"The biggest misrepresentation there is that [it's because] Dan's got a lot of money. That's not it," Gibbs said. "We've got a rule. Believe me, if we had no rules, Dan would spend some money."

From what I've seen so far in Denver's D line, they should be a tough team to run against, but who knows. Everyone knows how hungry Clinton is to get into the End zone, especially against his former squad...

I think it's going to be a tough day running the ball, but Joe will grind it out by using Betts quite a bit and keeping Portis fresh... that'll be the key in the second half playing at altitude. That'll also be the key to keeping the receivers fresh. We definitely need to get more out of first and second down though, so we don't get the crowd noise and subsequent false start penalties you get on those long yardage situations...

Given that Betts is spelling Portis pretty well, I'm thinking 110 for CP and 30 for LB. We need to control the clock on this one and think we can.
I think MB will have a good day 17-28 for 215yrds, TD.
Just my thoughts -- hope we do even better!
